Went to try and sort out christening venue tonight but woman was so short with me I'm not sure we want to go there now. Will investigate other options tomorrow.

Mad Tuesday ~ Living room, Hallway, Stairs
Get rid of any cobwebs that have moved in...
Remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
vacuum floors and sofas
Wipe and water neglected plants
Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
Vacuum hall and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!!!
Extras
Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs & wipe front door.. inside and out!
Clean out your handbag.. how many receipts??

Manic Monday ~ Kitchen and dining room
Empty and clean out the fridge.. including the drain hole bit at the back..
Pick a cupboard and empty and clean it out and replace only what you wish to keep!

Mad Tuesday ~ Living room and Hallway
Vacuum floors and sofas
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
Vacuum hall

15 minutes filing

Wacky Wednesday ~ Study/spare room & bathroom

Clear the clutter from all these rooms!!
Ring someone you love just to tell them so.. we never do this enough!
Vacuum the floors
Clean bath, toilets, shower and sinks
Wipe down the tiles
Declutter and dust the pc desk
Wipe the keyboard, mouse, cables and sockets and suchlike.

HHI..
Clear a hotspot
Degunge around the bottoms of the taps!
Wipe cupboards and polish mirrors!


Sending hugs, vibes, sticks and spoons as needed

I've been up since 03:15, as I had to take DH to the airport for an early flight - he's off playing with steam trains in Poland for a week Woke to find the car still covered in snow from last night's blizzard (NB we're in the West Midlands region, not the north of Scotland :eek:) and it took us a quarter of an hour to clear the windows sufficiently to see out, even with the heater on full blast. The snow had melted and then re-frozen in thick icy lumps, and even after three quarters of an hour's drive in each direction to and from the airport there is still snow/ice on the roof and bonnet :snow_grin Kazwookie, I was thinking about you and it being "too late" to plant stuff out - no way! (unless you want ready-frozen peas).

But we've had a beautiful sunrise this morning

I've had my breakfast and 2 mugs of coffee, so must knuckle down to work now.

- quick trip into town: go to 2 banks, put some money onto my Euros card, and remember to buy spare lightbulbs
- if it thaws out, do bits in the garden
- if not, clean out the fridge and do other Flying jobs in the house
- pop round to see the neighbours and explain about the strange car that will be parked on our drive for the weekend.
- catch up on zzz this afternoon
- go out to my course this evening

As I shall be getting up at 03:15 again on Friday, I have decided to do a time shift tomorrow as well!

Not up as early as you, but a productive morning nevertheless. I think I have finally perfected my GF Healthy Chocolate Brownie recipe. (Still cooling and a little too early to taste test but it looks lovely and gooey!)

Walked Furry Beast. DH fed and pack up made. Tonights dinner in SC. Kitchen S&S. Shortly off to the gym, then back to some serious flying - Monday and Tuesday seem to have passed me by:D

Taking it easy still today, I'm still not feeling myself but I've got a cold which isn't helping. So its more sewing for me today. DD needs belt loops on her school pants so I need to find some old ones to remove the loops from...and I need to put belt loops on my jeans as well. I also need to do more laundry, which I swear is never ending in this house.

Ground floors currently in the process of being broken up so I have retreated to the caravan.

Have made enquiries about the cost of moving the electricity meter and now need to ring the dog cage manufacturer to organise installation. Also have to pop something to the engraver, do a tip run and collect Tiny from nursery (after lunch)...

Right, I'm in, let's blitz this house! Still going on decluttering - old bank statements today (I've read Martin's guide, where would we be without him). I also need to find a plumber - any websites you'd recommend? And I think I'll accept that I will never clean my oven - Piggers I think I read you have someone come and do it. How does it work? Do they put stuff on and come back? Is it just for a fancy oven, rather than normal?
I'll read back when I'm flagging for inspiration...
