    Good morning!

Starting to feel better and not so meh. It just the time of the month and the overwhelmedness kicking in in relation to job, kids, house and me time. So I think I will include sth relating to that in next months challenge.

Got three pounds in my account and payday is next Tue. DH is due me some money but I'll try to avoid using it and make do till Sun. Only need to buy milk today. As DH is away from Friday afternoon it'll be even easier. A friend is coming round for a drink on Friday but I'll just open a bottle of red from the stash.

Might get the new thread up on Friday as I'm usually not much online on the weekend (will try harder next month ;) ).

    See you later

Apologies really not focused on this challenge at the moment, will try harder for rest of the month.

Totally blown my food budget will update signature in a bit. To be honest no idea what food I have in/ so will concentrate on getting cupboards and freezer organized rest of the month.

Just had cc statement paid off 717.24 in the last month, I just feel drained as do my bank acts and savings. So apart from milk no other spending hopefully rest of the month. Including today SFD 14/16.

    Things that made me smile
Somebody wearing woolley gloves today - has it really gone that cold?
Gorgeous red rose popped up in my front garden, never planted it!
Sun and sitting out chatting with friends in my garden last night.
Views of mountains last night crystal clear on my walk.

    Good deeds.
Met up for walk with someone lost his wife last year and had a good chat.
Apologised to neighbour for not going to her sales party and promised to go to the next one.(Just hope its when I am away on holiday snigger)

Wish I could have a chocolate stash, no hope there. Wheras wine rack is nearly full at moment, find I overheat during the night if I drink so almost being tea total. The joys of post menopause. Need some energy did abs nothing last night, house is a tip.

Thanks Bob, go you so jealous seeing you PADing. I have someone coming to price my ceiling repairs tonight, fingers and toes crossed its not too expensive.

Calling that is an amazing amount to pay off in a month, well done :T

Yesterday was a NSD and today should be too, currently on my way to work so as long as I avoid the shops in the way home I'll be able to claim NSD 12 - might just manage to claw my way to 16 although unlikely as I have 3 social things at the weekend :o 2 should be fairly low cost but 1 will not.

All my direct debits have now gone out for the month and was able to make a £4.95 payment to the loan. By the end of next month the loan will be gone :D

Happy - went to the gym this morning and did a 5k run on the treadmill, feeling prepared for Sunday now
Kind - OH is not feeling well so made him breakfast this morning as well as a few cups of tea.

Oh no, I was sort of looking fwd to menopause (well, only the alcohol tolerance bit). Being a scientist I know that you liver enzymes change then and become more like a man's i.e. we can handle alcohol better. Maybe not.....

    Evening all,

This morning I woke up thinking yay its payday and I can pay off some more debt :) However, after totalling up my over spends, I'm now quite down that I've only paid £236.52 off my debt total and the rest is being used to pay off the overspends on the credit card. So annoyed with myself now.

Today I am happy because I got a lot done at work.

I did a good deed because I helped a student out in my free hour.

My frugal tip is to buy in bulk from places like c0stc0 if at all possible, it really does save to buy in bulk :)
