And VW weren't cheating the fuel consumption tests. It was the "real pollutant" emissions they were gaming, not the plant food ones which are (largely) unrelated to NOx levels.0 -
You've moved the MPG you're getting from 50mpg to 43mpg and now 39mpg in order to justify your stance.
To be fair, he did say 'never more than 50'
Anyway, I wonder what his MPG was in his old car, versus the official figures, and whether he chased THAT dealer for 'promising' something he never could. And I wonder how truthful he was with the dealer about his commute.0
