It must be said that with "The Germans want to finish what zer Nazis started" and "Cameron's a liar" getting an airing lately, the Leave campaign can't really argue that their best arguments aren't being heard. When they lose shatteringly, it will be fair and square.

    Highly scientific polls..... quite meaningless
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

now is the time for anyone interested in democracy, to get as many people to vote as posssible, irrespective of how they do so.

Unfortunately the level of enthusiasm is rather low, and the campaigns are so negative and uninspiring.

Anyone who says they believe in democracy and is voting to stay doesn't actually believe in democracy.

The leadership of the EU is unequivocal about ever closer union, and with qualified majority voting it does not need UK support to start new initiatives.

Quite the contrary it's the Brexiteers who are naive. I don't give a toss where the controls come from....Westminster elite or EU elite....same difference to me. I'm Welsh .....we were taken over by the English years ago.......now it's the English turn. There is nothing special or sacred about their parliament! Germany since the war is an example to us how to be successful and have good industrial relations etc. The Brexiteers are right wing loons who just want to turn us into a market driven 'utopia'. It's total nonsense.

but you are also claiming that those 'nice' Germans are going to deliberately harm the people of Germany and the EU27 just to spite the UK
