Gosh Squeeky - great value there! Can I ask where you bought it?
Sorry, forgot to say. I bought it in my village co-op. It had a proper label all printed up with the price reduction rather than a stuck on "Reduced" label - so there's a possibility that they may be available in other local co-ops.

There was only the one on the shelf when I bought mine - but it is such a good buy that as soon as my organic box is delivered this morning I shall be going back to see if they have re-stocked with them.

I'm so proud of myself. My son has just come back from the Co-op spending some of his pocket money on sweets. He complained about the price of the gummy bears, he said "I wasn't paying £1.46 for a little packet. I bought these instead, 56p for the same size bag.

I must be teaching him something after all :D

i went the other way monday night and went on an M&S purge bough 2 ready meals (naughty naughty) one was aubergine bake yumm and the other was potato dauphinouise and they where both gorgeous worth the wait for it.......£6 i paid for both (may have been a bit less) i know it was extravagent but i was feeling really crap and wanted some rich, comforting, ready made food. it was well worth the price and cheaper than the tescos finest equivalent.
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

Well I got myself out today, and visited the Market at Bury st Edmunds.

I shall be jam making tomorrow as I bought 6lbs of apricots for £2.50and some lovely raspberries and english strawberries.

There was also a stall selling produce from 'Jimmy's farm' so I got some of their sausages and shall report back tommorrow and let you know if they were worth the extra.

large espresso and a large slice of strawberry cheesecake please waiter, Ive just had dinner and could do with a light snack.

No such things as light snacks here :) I've got a "light" suet pud with marmalade on the go at the moment and when it's all gone I shall be making a rhubarb crumble.

B St E... I hadn't realised you were so close. Just twenty minutes up the road from me. :)

actually Sqeaky I'm in a well know village between stowmarket and Bury, we shall be having our annual street fair on Monday. Will you be there. I shall be wearing my safety pin and shall probably be found loiterin with intent, at one of the watering holes. This is one annual occasion I shall not be very MSE as I shall be taking 3 children and If I remember last year it cost me lots.

    Still it's good fun.

Not sure I can manage any suet pud right now but the rhubarb crumble sound promising.

I shan't be there, so there'll be no need to hide in corners :) The pud was delicious! Two helpings left :)
