Forgot to ask for my cappuccino and some of that incredible fat-free tripe chocolate cake in the window...I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0

We live in the sticks and we have approximately 50 rabbits, 30 squirrels ... can't see the mice that often so dunno how many, a couple of munjack deer, and owl and quite a few birds.
That would be my idea of heaven
Where I used to live we had plentiful wild rabbit around and about, and one of the cats often used to bring me a baby bunny as a present "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Well one of the neighbour's cat has a go with the rabbits but as it is obviously well fed, he only eats half (from the head) and leaves the insides and enough fluffy bits around. I have to patrol regularly as it does upset the kids a bit and attarcts lots of flies.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0

Yes, I can see the flies may be a problem (I suffer the same problem due to a certain shop I live above) and I'm not sure how old your kids are, but with mine I've always used these sort of opportunities to teach them more about science and nature, and how the food chain works etc, but obviously they need to be of an age to understand all that."An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Guess the old one could learn, but DD is a bit on the touvchy side and would probably shed a few tears FOR THE CUTE BABY RABBIT that's attacking my flowerbeds.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -

Awwww bless, yes I guess they are a bit on the young side for some of life's harsher lessons, although like you say, maybe the eldest will be ready to take on board a few facts of life"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Can I quietly kick myself on here? I've just been sorting through my receipts for the month and found a slip of paper that looked just like a Tesco receipt. Only it wasn't, it was a voucher for £6 off a £30 instore spend
And the use by date was yesterday

You're not the only one - last night I was sorting through some bits & pieces & found a £5 off Brewers Fayre voucher that ran out last week!
On the other hand I've probably saved £20 by not going out in the first place..........0
