Sky ended on Monday, noticed MySky offer of 60% off so got onto live chat to check the offer. Just re-signed, or resigned! as the cricket starts tomorrow I couldn't hold out, lol! 60% discount for 12 months, off full tv package = £32/month plus £75 credit to my account plus rolling contract. Happy with that.
Did you have to ask for the credit or was it offered?

...VERY surprised ;when my went off for a few days EVERYTHING on the planner was blocked including "The Missing" which is on BBC1 HD.
The crazy thing was, that I lost access to Catch up and the recorded programmes immediately but could still view all the Sky channels for ~ 36 hours til everything stopped working!:)
When I renegotiated a deal, everything came back almost instantly.
I have got the same situation. My subscription finished on sunday. The on demand has gone and so is the sky go. But bizzarely the channels are still available on my tv. My account says I dont have the tv package so I am confused. I dont wanna ring them to check whats going on coz I want to wait it out for a good deal. I just hope they are not continuing to charge me. Anyone else had this? Am guessing it will go off soon but it its over 48 hours now and it hasn't
    yet.

They must be starting to crumble with retention deals:) I got the 60% and rolling contract but no bill credit a week ago . I haven't got Cinema -wonder if that made a difference?

I didn't originally have the movies, but with Christmas on the horizon I thought they could be fun (and not that much more a month), also I thought it might make it easier to haggle.

I'd been offered a rolling contract by phone with 50% off back when I originally cancelled, and I was keen to make sure I got that cos my Sky+ HD box is old.

I just went on chat and said my contract had just ended and I looked on MySky and saw the 60% offer. But I was thinking that was still too expensive and that I'd seen some posters say they'd been offered £100 credit. He wouldn't go for that but did go for £75.

Did you have to wait till it was turned off before you got that mine goes of in a week

....the 60% off offer didn't appear until after the switch off. But some people have reported that the 60% off was showing on Sky interactive directly they gave notice (altho' also reported that Sky personnel wouldn't honour saying that it was a "mistake":rotfl:)
The girl I spoke with ,was quite firm that she couldn't give me a cash sweetener, altho' she did give me the 60% off on the HD pack which in previous years, wasn't included,so I was happy to re-sign.

I just got an email offering me 75% off any TV bundle. I'm tempted.

Same, I'm on chat now, but they are saying no new equipment. Although it's 1 month rolling contract, and not 12, so that's good.

How long has you service been off for before getting that offer?
