What option did you go through on the chat? Anytime I try it is busy

I could never get onto chat with Sky, but have found a way, with PlusNet (for queries which are not new customer ones), that may work with others, who limit or close down chat :


Open the sales page and wait for the new customer sales 'chat' offer. They transfer you to the appropriate department.

Thanks for posting your recent experiences. Just managed to get 60% off with £50 credit. Happy with that as have been paying 50% for last few years.

And managed to do this via 'Chat'. Had no problem getting through. Maybe because it was a sunday afternoon, when they are less busy.

Been looking at going back to sky since cancelling last month. Saw someone on here had had the 75% email.
Went online chat today and managed to get 75% off package and 50% off multiroom and £75 credit.
So paying £20 a month for Boxset bundle, movies and multiroom.

Great deal, just about to go through the pain of live chat now if I can get a free advisor

Mine's not gone off yet, still in notice period and already offered 60% off via Sky Interactive.
I always hang on until it's actually gone off before I start considering their offers.
The deal I got last year was the best I've had from them. Prepared to play the long game to see what they come up with this time.

Mine went off today:) struggling to get on live chat tried join or upgrade option get the pop up then input the answers to there questions the if just says sorry our advisors are busy.
Anyone any advice ?

In the past I've had a call from them - with very good deals on offer - within 4/5 days of it going off.
Make sure your marketing settings on My Sky are set to allow them to call/email/snail mail you.

That said, last year I think I ended up going on live chat though for some reason.
