I know that/you know that - I think she must surely be aware of that but should I push it and bring up the subject again at risk of her getting huffy?
I can't help but think I'm interfering (although she's asked for my advice in the past) but I would hate myself if I didn't point it out to her and she really didn't realise (after all she was unaware there was a right time to concieve)

It all depends on how close you are really. If you're the sort of friends that can tell each other things you don't want to hear, then go for it, as it is good advice. If she's going to hate you for it, then maybe you should just stick around to answer questions when she's ready to hear the answers. With my close friends I would tell them. At her age she will quite possibly be fine, but also maybe won't - it's definately worth finding out.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

I know - she is a close friend but I've a feeling that her sticking her head in the sand is to do with her HB (there was a lot of discussion pre marriage around whether he would still marry her if she were unable to concieve - he's a bit of an arrogant ar*e to be honest!)
Think I'm going to have to mention it again so I can be sure she knows - I'd hate to be a few years down the line with her childless and upset knowing I hadn't said anything just in case she is clueless.
Gotta head off now ladies but thanks for the advice:T

Also forgot to say, so the cheap pregnancy tests in savers and the like actually work? I saw one for 69p the other day but was a cynical.
Would be nice to find them cheaper than £5 'cause I have a feeling I will be testing alot, am too impatient! lol!!!

Well speaking from my own experience I have used them for a couple of years now.
On the leaflet it shows you what to expect for pregnant, not pregnant and an invalid test, so even if it hasn't worked you should know.

Also from experience I try to not test until 5 days late for a couple of reasons....
    1) You could test too early and a pg won't show up
    2) It gets expensive because if you test at say 1 day late and get a neg but then AF still doesn't show up a day or 2 later you do another one. You could do 2 or 3 tests and get AF when all along for some reason AF was just going to be late. With the £1 this doesn't matter as much as they are so cheap.....mind you, it doesn't do much for your emotional well being.

Day 44 in the TTC house......

Not a symptom in sight of impending AF.....nor obvious ones of pregnancy either:confused: (some minor ones but I think I'm just talking my mind into it).

I'm trying to stick to Shelly's advice about waiting 5 days after the longest cycle I've had, which means I've got another 4 to go. I could nip out and get some tests with my Boots points....wouldn't be so expensive then, would it? How quickly do access deliver?

I can just hear the collective intake of shocked breath at the fact that I don't have any tests handy....:D

Well as of today I am 3 weeks late. I have had spotting quite a few times which stopped on Monday and 4 Negative tests. I went to the docs on Wednesday and he said that I should keep testing every 2 weeks and if my AF hadn't arrived or i get a BFP that i should go back to see him after i am 6 weeks late.
I had some tests in late March due to some irregular bleeding which were all clear, thankfully so i don't need to worry too much about that.
I started tracking my cycle in December and have a 19/21 day cycle so am actually due my AF again today - i'll just have to wait and see.
    Sorry for the long post.
    xx
