hey Girls
Thanks for the advice, I am an old hand at the ttc game lol, there isnt much i havent tried i have done all the websites, was on FF for over a year, temping everyday etc but stopped after the MC in november with the doctors advice, and after a 21 day prog test to confirm i am ovulating and because of my obsessiveness, i "know" when im ovulating, i get ovulation cramps 99% of the time and get sore (.Y.)'s almost as soon as i have!!
What things have you girls tried?? i have tried SMEP, B6, pineapple, Epo before O everything including handstands after bd!! lol
Now were just letting nature take its course and not stressing too much, we have very little time together these days with hubby always away and due to go to iraq soon all the time we have is "quality" time not all focused on getting preggo.
And all the same TOM i think ill just pass on your offer! :rotfl:

hey pixie, reading your post above is like a mirror image of our situation, we have been trying for 18 months now and still nothing. we have been referred up to the fertility clinic and last month i got the blue dye in my tubes (god it hurt!) going back next month to check oh SC and look at manually making them connect with the egg.
if i had 1p for everytime some said "it will happen when you least expect it" or "whats for you wont go by you" i would be a millionaire!! it feels like i have read every page on the net, tried every old wives tales and i am getting pretty good at waving my legs in the air like i jst dont care! haha :rotfl: :rotfl:
we are at the stage now where i have convinced myself it will never happen and just live your life every day like its your last - i will be 25 next week so we are hitting blackpool with a bang this weekend and maybe like everyone says - it will happen when you least expect it!!
good luck everyone xxx0 -
Having been a member of MSE for a while now and only just found this ttc thread, so thought I'd introduce myself.
My DH and I have been TTC for 11 months now - I had previously been on Methotrexate due to having Stills disease and had to stop taking it for 3 months before TTC. So I have had to try and get pregnant as soon as possible, as my arthritis will get worse while i'm not taking the Methotrexate (if that makes sense!)
We have made a real effort this month, so hopefully this will be the month. Af due tomorrow (although my cycles vary between 27-30 days at the mo), I have had a few promising symptoms - needing to use the loo a lot, feeling really queasy etc. But I convince myself every month I have the symptoms and I am always wrong and get dissapointed
.
Good luck to all you ladies out there, I will let you know when I do my HPT with the result.

Hi girls!
I have not been around for a few days so (((hugs))) to those that need them and congrats to the BFPs.
I had the results of my 21 day blood test yesterday and it was "unlikely that ovulation took place" which made me sad. Was kind of glad in a way though because when I rang for the results the nurse said I had an abnormal rubella result and to see the doctor. Jeez I spent 2 1/2 hours absolutely sh1tting myself thinking I had some disease  . So it was almost a relief that the abnormality was non ovulation! Sounds terrible that I thought like that but I'm sure you will all understand what I mean. Bit sad about it but I did say to the doc that I had EWCM on day 23 so he said maybe I did ov but this may not show up on the blood test because blood test was before, so still hoping and sympton spotting. I am on CD31 today but as this is the first month I have actually kept an eye on my cycle I do not know exactly how long my cycle is. I always thought I was about 28 days but assume now that I am longer. I am sympton spotting and of course am sure I am pg but also am feeling like a grumpy moo so probably due a visit from the auntie!
Anyways the doc is sending me for a test on the week of AF between CD1 and CD7 and then I need to go for another 21 day blood test but on day 23 this time so maybe that will show us more information.
DH has sperm test next Thursday (on his birthday, lol) so will find out if his little swimmers are ok aswell.
Am laughing about the pre-seed coming out of the fridge, goddam that would be uncomfortable  . shelly, is there any reason you have not used your pre-seed yet? I have a box in the cupboard but feel a bit nervous using it if you know what I mean. Don't really know why though, just a feeling. If AF comes this month I will definitely try to use it but may wait a few more months to get more of an idea of when I am actually OVing.
God, I have been away for only a few days and I cannot stop blathering on, lol!
Just one more question about temping - if you do it "down south", how far in does the thermometer have to go? I am a little squeamish (if thats the right word) and obviously don't want to shove it right in and damage myself but don't want to be a wuss and only put the tip in! I may well decide to do it orally but I know I sleep with my mouth open the majority of the time so think this may give flawed results, any suggestions?
Anyway, if you've got this far into this post then you've done well!:o
Lots of love to everybody travelling on the rollercoaster that is ttc!

Not really a reason as such, just don't think about using it I guess. Its been sat in the drawer since I got it so as I don't see it very often I forget to use it.
Any users of it can confirm or deny for me what I read on the pre-seed site? It says you should insert it half an hour before use.....does it really matter?:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I'm all organised to actively try TTC this month. Just bought a basal thermometer, OV tests and pregnancy tests off of ebay. Started a chart on a fertility website. Went to the docs the other day regarding sleeping tablets I'm on for sleepwalking. He is going to find out from the neurologist who gave me the brain scan if there is another course of action to stop it apart from taking tablets. Stopped smoking on Monday night have done well, so far no cigs. Fingers crossed.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

I'm feeling really stressed. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?
Af arrived on Tuesday - yesterday was officially cd1 - I had cramps and felt rotten, but it wasn't very heavy, but since last night af has... well... stopped, basically.
I worked out on mymonthlycycles.com last night that we bd'd on the day when I theoretically would have ovulated, assuming I have a 14 day luteal phase.
I feel exhausted - have done for a while - and have felt sick for the last few days.
So - you can probably figure out what's coming next. I'm wondering if maybe I am actually pg and what I thought was af was actually implantation or breakthrough bleeding?????
Has anyone had any experience of this? Am I just going loopy with the wish to be 'in the club'?0 -
I know the feeling!!!! My last AF was only a day and half!!!! And not that long ago it used to be 7 days.... I had the same thoughts and decided that taking a test will let me know if I am pg or not. Of course, I wasn't, but at least that let me get on with my life for the rest of the month and not think every day that I still may be pregnant...
Please, relax and if you have on of the cheap test - jsut do it, to help your mind rest.

Thanks Gvinzt. I have a test, so I'll probably do it just to be sure.0

I know, many girls say not to do one, but if I find that AF hasn't convinced me that I am not pregnant, just doing one, helps to calm nerves....
I have 4 days to go to AF, so I am doing lots of (involuntary) symptom spotting...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
