Morning all!

Just to update, it was a BFN, but at least I didn't waste the money I spent on the OV sticks. I must just be run down, so I'm spending some time just chilling out today.

Thanks for your reply shelly, I am sure I am going to give the pre-seed a try around next months "ovulation". I say it in inverted commas because of the 21 day blood test. Gonna start BBT and got some sticks to pee on aswell to see if I can glean an idea of what is going on.

Thanks for your reply FairyElephant, I have just today had some ov sticks to pee on through the post from Access Diagnostics along with a digital thermometer and BBT charts so am going to start tracking my temps and hopefully this will give me more of a handle on things - along with the 2 other blood tests that the doc is going to do.

AnnieM - sorry for your BFN but at least you know now and its onwards and upwards. Whenever I say that I always think of Toy Story "To infinity and beyond", lol, what a weirdo I am!

I am really intrigued about the convo between galvanisersbaby and xcat_girlx regarding the breast feeding mums! I assume that maybe cat girl you don't want to breastfeed and got lynched? I have to say I am wary about the thought of breastfeeding but maybe those feelings will change when we are all holding our LOs.

Going to see my friends and their 2 week old baby later on today and the visit fills me with apprehension, though I am sure it will be fine when we get there.

Hope everyone else is ok and in the spirit of Strictly Come Dancing tonight......

Gracie - sorry to hear your news hun. I think people can be insensitive, like doctors and really don't understand how you feel when you want a baby so bad and then have a miscarriage. Someone I know went through a mc recently and my heart felt like it would explode on her behalf.

Oh GracieP what a horrible doctor you have. She must not have ever TTC. I had a very early mc last month (I hadn;t tested for PG but I know it was because it was so different and weird and clotty) and was really upset so you mustbe feeling so much worse.

Glad your OH is trying to be supportive - men do find it hard to deal with emotional stuff. Mine just saiud 'we'll try again next month' rather than being sad for the little life we'd lost.

I hope this doesn;t seem inconsiderate coming straight after my post to GracieP, but I need to ask you girls to help!

My cycle is usually on average 34 days but it has in the last year been 37 on a few occasions, 42 once and even 55 once!

Today is day 40 and I feel different. I am tried - REALLY tired - I had to have a nap when I got home from work last night, and I feel sick a lot of the time, have been getting headaches, backache, moody (I don;t get PMT usually).

So I'd done two early First Response tests last week and the week before (WAAAY too earlyl lol) and got BFN.

Yesterday I did a Clearblue and got what I THINK is a TLP - tiny little positive.


Can you look at the pics I took of the test and tell me what you think? Sorry if they are massive - I wanted you to be able to see the results window.









These are all the ones I took. I'm so excited but also scared I'm wrong!I phoned my GP who said to leave it a week or at least till Monday to retest, but that faint positives are still positives, and congratulated me!

But I don;t want to count my chickens before they hatch. Do you think it looks like positive?

I bought two Clearblue digital tests yesterday - would you do one tomorrow rather than wait till Monday? We are going to visit our parents tomorrow abd I'd love to be able to tell them face to face if I am but I don;t want to jump the gun either.

DH thinks I should wait till GP confirms it.

Well I'm way off being an expert but that looks like a positive to me! I have to say if it was me then I'd do another test tomorrow. If it is BFP then you'll have more of the hormone so should get the same or even better result.

Well AF showed up for me today. Which is a bit disheartening as I know that we BD'd exactly 2 weeks ago today! And twice at that! Oh well, here's to next month..........

Skintchick - that looks like a positive to me!! If I was you I'd do a digital one first thing tomorrow morning - but I wouldn't be able to wait longer (I take it it's your first) The head side says wait until Mon, but the heart says tomorrow - it is your decision when to test though - but we've fingers crossed! (My first test on an ebay cheapy with this pg was SO faint I could hardly believe it - I was expecting a bfn, so was surprised - the digi one a few days later was a definite Pos tho')

Edited to add~ You OH wants to wait until GP confirms pg.....its rare for a GP to do anymore than you have already. They usually take your word for it.

Yay!! I keep looking at the pictures and asking DH if it is a cross lol. He thinks I'm mad. He has way more patience than me though. Yes it's my first! I only got married in June and had been single ten years so never thought I'd have a man let alone a baby! I'm so excited! Cannot WAIT for tomorrow morning so I can do the digital one.

Oooh skintchick that looks pretty exciting to me too!! Deffo looks like one of those faint positives every one talks about! Well done you! Its really nice that you put photos on aswell because that is the first positive I have ever seen so its really exciting for me aswell (god is that really sad or what? lol).
