Right... CD1 for me tomorrow. AF has FINALLY arrived after the few light shows I've had, I did wonder whether it was ever going to kick in properly. That's not bad going, and means my cycle has been 39 days this time instead of 31, but I'm not surprised as I was ill mid month so I think the 'stress' of that has knocked me back. I'm actually really pleased with that.

Just need to focus on getting a bit more jiggy this month....
  • Hi l'ill P the jiggy bit is the bit to remember to do ;)
Just out of curiosity have you done a test? Just you say you were a bit ill mid month and the cycle was longer than expected and the light shows.
Don't want to get your hopes up or nothing, but I am finding there is nothing straight forward or obvious with us females! xxxxx

Ok so I had a BFN this morning. It's CD35 out of 35 for me. I had a small brown show last week (sorry if TMI) which never happens for me so I saw it as an implantation bleed. I had convinced myself we had done it this month.
I would expect to be feeling like S!!T if AF was coming tomorrow. She is normally on time. I normally have spots all over my face, backache for 2 days before and sore boobs, but nothing. I have had some nausea this week, and sore boobs but they stopped earlier in the week.

So if AF is not here in 2 days I will re-test, but I'm not hopeful. (I was soooo positive earlier this month, now I'm in the depths of despair! I even had a cry this morning)

What a rollercoaster we have all put ourselves on! I must find a way to deal with the pressure and not syptom spot. I'm thinking of taking up swimming again, as I think the excercise may help.

P.S. I am using early detection tests from access diagnostics, I realise that a normal test may not pick a PG up this early.
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

No, I haven't done a test. I know people can still continue to bleed when pregnant, but I am certain that this is not the case with me. I think AF just got off to a slow start (it threatened a bit and then yesterday finally arrived with avengeance). I'm glad really because I was starting to worry what was going on. I am just glad that I seem to be a lot regular since coming off the pill than I ever imagined I would be which is nice. Considering I have been on the pill for the past 8-9 years, I hadn'd expected it to snap back as quick as it has.

Hi Mrs Toast, welcome to the ride....
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o
  • Hi all. Do you want the latest?
I really have to laugh to keep myself sanish!!!!

Was at A and E 4am this morning in agony, from head to foot all down my left hand side - they did another test which came back negative but said i had a urine infection (which has been whats causing the pain according to them!), wanted to give me anti biotics - i said i wont take any that will harm a baby (they were quite prepared to give me them though as their test was negative again!) ....so they were forced to do a blood test, and the doctor rang me all apologetically as my numbers are......... 32.6, so i got confirmation and am now officially in the system!

I've got to go back on tuesday to get them rechecked to check everything is ok as they are concerned about the bleeding and just incase these pains arent from a UTI, but this means I should be able to test on a 25mlu now and even though i'm having a period i would bet my numbers have risen!

Now the stabbing pain i was getting i bet that was implantation! which just so happened to co-incide with the day i got my period later on, and properly the next day, so i must have ovulated late or something and didnt have time to switch off af! which wouldnt be a real period in the true sense, sympathy bleeding they call it (great!)

The only thing is these anti biotics are causing me stomach pains, I can't win!!
tell me it'll get better LOL.

I'm going to keep a blog so when it's grown up it can see just what i went through in week one!!! I've never had such a worrying week in my life or been in so much pain!!!

Anyway still erring on the side of caution till I get my new blood test on tuesday, but i think everything is really going to turn out just fine (I'm another matter lol).

    Hi to mrs Toast :)
