    Hi ancasta

If pg test is -ve you could ask the GP for some tablets to bring you on before you go away rather than to delay you? That would mean that you'd be back at Day 1 of a cycle, rather than lengthening an already very long one, possibly for quite some time. And a relaxing holiday just might help things along.

I know when I was ttc number 1 and wasn't having periods, my GP would trigger a bleeed for me so that I could start clomid cycles. Think she did this by giving me progesterone for 5 days then when this stopped I'd get a withdrawal bleed a few days later, but this was 10 years ago now so the method might have changed.

Grr I just wrote a reply and MSE ate it!

Im under my consultants treatment, not my GP for this so i dont want to take tablets from him that might go against what the consultant wants/will give me. Ive waited 74 days so far, i can cope with another 18! :rotfl: I only broached the AF stopping tablets with GP as ive had them before when this whole thing started so i know i can get them again. Will broach the same subject with the consultant, depending what their course of action is.

Thanks for the suggestion though, will definately bear it in mind!

Hope someone updates me on asda PG tests, if they are reasonably ££ ill have a butchers over tonight.

I know stuff like this probably gets asked all the time, Its probably me getting over excited Lol :o But I have been TTC for about a month, so not long I know.

My period came a day early last month and didnt last very long about 4 days as opposed to the usual 7.
I didnt bother doing a test, but since then I have had nausea, really sore breasts and darkened nipples, a funny taste in my mouth plus a few other signs.

So this morning I thought it might have been an implantation bleed, so I did a test, I got like a shadow in the test region - clearly visable and within the alloted time , but as it wasnt pink or red....So..... Im thinking it might just have been an evaporation line.

Has anyone else had an experience like this and what do you think this line is?

Would do another test but I only had the one. Also looking at it again now the shadow is still visable but has faded.

I think Its a case of wishful thinking, but does anyone think its worth doing another test?

    Thanks in advance x

I know my local Savers do dip test sticks for £1 each. Also I think the poundshop does them.
If you can wait a few days I'd recommend accessdiagnostics (I know I keep plugging them....but really I don't work for them :D )

    http://www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/acatalog/Early_home_pregnancy_test_offer.html

Delivery is FREE and they only take a few days to arrive.

Or as I have quite a few and will hopefully be getting freebies from Clearblue, PM me your address and I will pop a couple in the post to you over the weekend. I'll also photocopy the instructions for you.

I would probably wait a day or 2 and do another one. If you would like, the offer I made ancasta goes for you too ( I really do have lots :D ) PM me your address and I'll pop a couple in the post to you.
They are the dip sticks from accessdiagnostics.
