sparkle03, ancasta, no problem at all. I hope you both get the results you are wanting.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

Hiya girls, hope you are all doing good.
We had our appt at the hospital on Wed and apparantly my hubby has super sperm  which, of course he is very proud of (men are so easily pleased) Anyways the doc told me I need to lose around 3 stone in around 6 months. I felt terrible, couldn't stop crying all the way home. We have been going to the gym every night but I hate seeing all the skinny girls doing it effortlessly whilst I'm sweating and in need of an oxygen tank and a long vodka.
I am definitely going to try diet pills so please can somebody reccommend some good ones for me
Oh and P.S I spoke to her regarding the pree-seed and she said that as far as she was concerned it is best not to use anything as the pree-seed doesn't help the sperm along ( as I thought it did ) it just doesn't harm it. and unless I needed to use it due to dryness (which I don't, thank you very much lol) that it could be more of a hinder than a help.
Oh but she did speak highly of Angus Castus, herbal tablets from Holland and Barret, saying that they do in-fact regulate periods.
Its weird how my doctor and the consultant have conflicting theories

Please don't. I spoke to my doctor about diet pills because I too need to lose 3 stones in 6 months to go on the IVF waiting list. As far as doc was concerned NONE are recommended whilst TTC.
Also the pre seed. From what I have read online it is normally used by women that experience dryness but apparently it also mimics CM so it helps the sperm get to where it needs to be easier.
Just reading the leaflet in the pre seed box ( I have some but not tried it yet) it says that pre seed mimics the bodys natural secretions giving the sperm an optimal environment.
I read lots of reports before buying it that women who had been trying for years got pg using pre seed.
To me, after 4 years of trying, anything is worth a go if it isn't going to harm the sperm.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I know stuff like this probably gets asked all the time, Its probably me getting over excited Lol
But I have been TTC for about a month, so not long I know.
My period came a day early last month and didnt last very long about 4 days as opposed to the usual 7.
I didnt bother doing a test, but since then I have had nausea, really sore breasts and darkened nipples, a funny taste in my mouth plus a few other signs.
So this morning I thought it might have been an implantation bleed, so I did a test, I got like a shadow in the test region - clearly visable and within the alloted time , but as it wasnt pink or red....So..... Im thinking it might just have been an evaporation line.
Has anyone else had an experience like this and what do you think this line is?
Would do another test but I only had the one. Also looking at it again now the shadow is still visable but has faded.
I think Its a case of wishful thinking, but does anyone think its worth doing another test?
Thanks in advance x
Sparkle I would do another test, do a few cheapies in a row because this is happening to me, on the day i got loads of Bfps' that night I passed browny mucis, that night red like a period and the next day bled all day (and still now!)- was so worried, next afternoon did a test and the test line was the strongest yet. I've got to give a urine sample into the doctors on Monday to find out exactly what's happening.
I think if you ovulate later than you think or you have low hcg levels then the signal to switch of bleeding doesnt kick in, and if you do a google search you will find it is so so common. (not that that make sit any easier to cope with!)
I have been beside myself but tonight I got the best veins on my bbs and i never get them, my temperature is still consistently above 37.1 and I've been getting twinges above my belly button, all good signs I think - so do some more tests and good luck!£200 saved for baby things :T0 -
If you must use something to lose weight then opt for something like Adios.
I doubt you would be able to get anything like Duromine these days anyway as they banned it - stick to herbal type ones as they are safe enough.£200 saved for baby things :T0 -
Thats what i found, but im sure someone posted that they have some 2 for £1 of the dippy strippy ones? I might be making that up completely from out of mid air though
yes poundland do 2 for a pound, 25mlu ones. i cant test on that number yet though only 10mlu ones
Savers 99p for a 10mlu one which is an early tester. I can vouch for these ones to work properly!£200 saved for baby things :T0 -
re not testing till af is late, I think there is no harm in doing a test anyway even if she shows up, because just cos you have a ''period'' it really doesn't mean you're not pregnant.
this might be TMi but also might be helpful to some, as it would be to me right now to read this.
OK, on the morning I got loads of cheap bfp's and i treat myself to a boots early response, this was officially on a 27 day cycle, so all 10mlu tests (this is the important bit as nothing was showing on a 25mlu test) --- that night brown watery discharge, turning into light red -- next morning just like a period but lighter coloured -- had a standard test done in A and E which came up negative -- got home and did a 10mlu test and got a great nice line -- bleeding like a period -- went to doctors with all my positive sticks and gave a useless sample as all i could manage! told not to do any more tests myself (test came back as couldnt say negative, need a fmu decent amount to test in the hospital labs)-- no bleeding all last night asleep, this morning alot of brown and the pain i've had in my left ovary area all but vanished -- still bleeding all day convinced this was it, i'd lost it -- earlier tonight i developed veins on my bbs like it was a sign to say everything is ok, twinges to the left and above my belly button, felt like i was going to faint and still feeling sick -- realised that although i'm bleeding i'm not cramping and it's watery and not my normal, very few clots, just tiny and not many (all good signs i hope) -- temperature has stayed over 37.1 on an evening in a not a warm room at all with the window open (husbands was 36.8 and he was boiling hot!) -- so even though it's not a ''normal'' period it could easily be mistaken for one, i would think it odd but that on it's own wouldnt make me think i was pg!
So I think there is some merit for testing anyway on the day your af was due even if you think she's arrived!
After saying all that i wont know till next week what the score is.£200 saved for baby things :T0 -
Me again!!
Just seen this posted on HUKD. Might be of interest to those of you that have recently got BFP's or to those of you who are already buying in preparation of a BFP.

I'd love to breastfeed when we have a little one and this seems to me a good deal but I just know my hubby won't let me buy things in advance. Only things I am allowed to have that are baby related are freebies
Hope it helps someone
That looks a good offer! unfortunately no one in my immediate family has been successful with breastfeeding, I would hope I could (it is a money saver afterall!).
I wish i could feel like I could go do a major fun shop right now, I understand now why people wait till 20 weeks.£200 saved for baby things :T0 -
