Hi Kathy,

I don't know where my willpower is coming from honestly. I think it might be from knowing that if i get a -ve, then i will be upset so i keep putting it off and thinking AF might arrive.

Still no sign of AF.

Wonder if OH will want to do test tonight??

Tampons also can play a role - if you insert one post-BD, it can stop the little swimmers swimming away - even if you go pee afterwards. (Sorry for gross-ness).

Hey all,

I came across this thread the other day and have read it all the way through in the last few days. I think I might want to start TTC, but I'm nervous and DH is too freaked out.

I'm now 30 and he is 33 and we've been together 13 years (married nearly 4). We always said we would do everything the traditional way and we're now married and have a house (which we're getting to the end of refurbishing). We have both just got promoted at work, (with the pay rises to match) and have some debts to clear (car loans etc) - not much. I haven't yet finished my PhD which I was adamant had to be finished before the patter of tiny feet.

It's just I always thought I wanted kids before I was 30 and now I am and DH still won't properly talk about it. I'm not really broody yet, but if we want two I'm starting to worry time could start ticking away from us. DH's parents were married for 10 years and planning to adopt before he came along.

I came off the pill in February but we're not trying and I just generally feel confused about what I want and if/when DH will ever want it. All men are just kids at heart aren't they?

The only thing that keeps me positive is that we were together for 9 years and knew we'd get married, but he always made out like it was a long way off until the day he proposed. He deffo does want kids just not yet he says... Maybe one day he will just wake up and decide to BD??!!!

Well, I managed to hold off my second test until Tues (CD 34): line no. 2 was even fainter, so I figured that it was just a chemical pregnancy... AF came on (with a vengance- owowow!) today. Yay for being right? (I'm just glad I didn't get my hopes up too much with the extra line...)

Good Luck x I was totally confused when I was OVing - I would say test from Day 10 for the first few months to understand when you OV.

Well, I've still been feeling extremely sick, but not being sick, have terrible heartburn, feel bloated and I'm extra moody, but got the BFN yesterday so
Haven't seen AF for 3 months but that's not really anything strange to me, although it had regulated to about 2 months, or so I thought. So I'm thinking is she hasn't arrived within the next month I'll take another one. I think I'd rather just start my period so I can start doing the OV calendar thing.
Still not got back into the swing of things exercise wise, I need to do it so I feel confident enough to go back to the fertility clinic, I've just been recommended some DVD's so I'm going to try them from tomorrow, wish me luck
