Sceneyme - have you tried freecycle for some excercise dvd's or equipment? I got a lovely stepper machine off there last year and just use it when I'm watching my soaps and it really helps! (I HATE excercise!)

I chek regularly on there, but I have no room for big things like that, so DVD's it is for me I suppose, have been looking after my niece and nephew all day today though, so haven't been able to get anything done

Is it normal to not ov when you first come off the pill? I am on my second proper cycle after the pill now.

I've been off the pill for a year now and not shown proper signs of ovulating in all that time boo hoo. OV sticks showed a very feint line for one day occasionally but not enough to definitely show ovulation (lines are meant to show for a few days).

Thanks for that honeypop. Hopefully if you have been off it for a year now you might be getting back to normal ov-wise - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anyway.

Isn't it amazing that you can be given the pill and never told any of this!! If I'd have known I would've come off it a lot sooner.

It also amazes me how some people miss once pill and get pregnant while others try and try after they come off it and it takes ages! Guess that's just life though.

My sister-in-law used to forget her pill a few times and that's how she fell pregnant with her 2nd child

I don't think there is a definate answer for this question. I got pg in my second cycle so I must have started oving as soon as I came off the pill and I was taking the pill for over 15 years.
We are all so different and we should all try not to compare ourselves with others :D

Fairy Elephant, I feel silly thanking you for being 38! it's just kind of nice to know not everyone is in their 2o's. My mum was in her 30's when she had me, and she looked alot older than I do now because of the fashions in the main, it made me think I was too old once I reached 30. Some people even thought she was my gran can you believe! It's all changed days now though.
Sorry to read about the problems you're having, hopefully some luck will come to you soon ((hugs))

And thanks nottslass for being 40 (bet no one thought they would get thanked for their age today lol), sorry to hear bout your problems too. ((hugs))

As far as I know I don't think we have any problems, but as we have never tried before then I can't say for sure.
There have been misshaps in the past where I could have fallen but didn't, so who knows.
I think if it doesn't happen for us we will most probably just put it down to it wasn't meant to be rather than pursue it as I think we are the type of people who couldn't handle it.
Anyway we shall start having fun trying, and he's a bit peeved when I told him I had read on here it's best to only 'baby dance' every 2-3 days and he's under strict instructions not to go secretly baby dancing on his own!!

Take them to a park and play tag, chase, etc.! Or if running around with little kids is a bit much, take them for a long walk. Playing with kids is a great way of getting excercise in, since they have so much energy :T. And you'll still be able to get something done.

    Morning all,

Stupidly depressed myself this morning and did a test, BFN, only on CD23 but couldn't wait anylonger, i've been feeling really weird this month and got way too caught up in it.

But i'm getting a new tattoo later and am wearing my ridiculously high wedding shoes so thats keeping me happy!

    Baby dust to all!!! xxx

Hi all, hope you're enjoying your weekends.

I'm a bit nervous waiting for hubby's sperm test results on Monday. I know that it's not the be all and end all, as things can be done whatever, but I know he will be besides himself if there's a problem. I know that I'll be dissapointed but ok if there's something wrong, but I'm not sure if I'll be strong enough to sort him out if he has a major flip out (which is likely if something negative comes up). What have your experiences been?

Yeh, I'll start doing that :)
