Then we went to the pub :o which got me to thinking - what are you girls doing with regard to abstaining from stuff? I am half-heartedly abstaining from some things (during the latter half of my cylce) but not really worrying until a BFP comes along...

    Babydust to all :D

Honest answer -I wasn't. But this month OH and I have had a little bet. He wanted to cut down on his drinking, and I was trying and failing. So no booze  for a month! If I loose I have to wash his car every week for a month. If he looses he has to do the ironing for a month! I've stopped smoking (was only a social smoker), but the drinking is going to be hard. I work in a pub one night a week, and next week I'm out 4 nights in a row! To be honest it's been one week and I feel a bit better for it!

Also a lot of my friends who have had babies, drank before they knew the were pregnant, with no ill effects. I'm sure every TTC woman does not abstain!

Personally a couple of glasses of wine wouldn't worry me (and sounds quite nice!)

I am also cutting down on the drinking. I'm still having the odd glass of wine - just not overdoing it. I'm not a very big drinker anyway so I don't really mind. One thing that will be hard though is that on 5th July I am going out for one of my best friend's birthdays, and as we haven't all been out in a while the "I'm going drive" excuse won't cut it and I'll be forced to get a taxi and be expected to be drinking. My plan is to drink lime and lemonade instead of my usual vodka lime and lemonade and hope nobody really notices!

I *should* have just ov that weekend but to be honest I don't know now as I am on CD 30 today and still no signs of AF. I usually feel i tthe day before and nothing yet. I'm still hoping there's be a BFP on the way but in my heart I don't really think so this month. That's ok though! Onwards and upwards!

I am on CD 26 and haven't got a clue what's going on... I feel like I am going to get AF in the next few days, been really spotty and had really bad shooting pains in my womb area that knocked me a bit for sick this afternoon and made me think that Af really was on her way. But nothing... I've been fine ever since. If no AF by end of next week I am definitley going to test. But get the feeling will get AF first. Crazy!

Hmm - I've just checked my OV dates and I will ovulate around my birthday! That would be a nice present.

    Hi All

Think I OV'd yesterday. had bad tummy (low left ab) and had been a right old moody cow for the two days before that. We did BD yest and the day before so time will tell now. I think this is the first month that I have got the timing right as my cycle seems to be settling into a 5 week cycle.
Well it was last month and these pains were on cd22 so seems right. Just got to wait and see now....

    Good Luck All

    Mel x

Had a bit of a nightmare trying to post this last night, so I saved it elsewhere and I'm trying again...
    Here it is.

Had a bit of decent news today. I went for my second doctors appointment, took hubby with me and it was much better today. She took me seriously for a start. she told me not to eat foods that are high in fat, as they have an effect on PMT. She agreed with me that massages to help me relax would be a good idea, but she didn't have a good opinion of reflexology. She suggested I take up something like swimming, as it is relaxing, and is fitness to encourage happy hormones. She said we should be having sex three times a week, even during my period, as there are some women that ovulate while they are menstrating.
She also told us that although she would normally send people for testing at 12 months ttc, since we were both there and we are at 10 months that she would just send us off now. so i'm having my day 21 progesterone test to see if I ovulate this month, and hubby is having his sperm tested to see if it's there, if it's moving, and if can figure out which way to go. We feel much better that these tests are starting - hopefully it will stop OH feeling that failing to conceive can be "blamed" on him.
So all in all, a better day.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Hey jiblets that's good news. I'm really pleased for you. Fingers crossed you can either find there is no problem and you then get that BFP or if there is a problem you find it and sort it! Hope that makes sense!!
