That's pretty much what got us onto TTC... my friend who's not long had her baby gave us a load of baby clothes she didn't want and asked me to freecycle them. Anyway, typically my Mum & I had a dig through to check what was in the bag and I came across a romper suit with the footie badge of my OH's favourite team. So, snaffled it. I took it home and showed him it and jokingly said that my friend had sent it (she supports a totally diffrent team!). His jaw dropped and he asked what I was going to do with it.... when I said that we were just going to freecycle it, he said "No, I want us to keep it for our baby". My jaw then hit the floor...

Needless to say it wasn't long before the suggestion for me to come off the pill came along....

Since I suggested a list it has been kind of playing on my mind that this could be a completely depressing list to be on...nice to add yourself when you are just starting TTC but potentially quite soul destroying if you stay on as others move onto the pregancy list


Anyway, the reason for my ramble is just to clarify that I didn't mean anything by it (it was actually a bit of a joke) and I hope that everyone is okay with it....:o


Ramble over - feeling a bit weepy today which may be why I am being a bit sensitive. I am loving reading about you all and I guess if I am here for a while then I would rather belong to a list of girls where I can chat about TTC and we can all support each other than be worrying about this all on my own.

I understand what you mean yes, hope it doesn't depress people. On the other hand it's nice to know who we are sharing this experience with, although we see each other names on here so often that we kind of 'know' each other. Maybe a list with just our names, ages and how long TTC is enough, that way the list wouldn't be so long?

I understand what both you and MFD has send about the list. I haven't put myself on it yet for that reason. A bit down at the moment, but perhaps when my mood lifts i will put myself on there.

Of to the docs tonight to discuss my health in general now we are TTC and to see if he has any other advice for me (other than losing weight which is playing on my mind BIG time at the moment).
