If you work hard you deserve a promotion.
I can't agree with what you've said. If you work hard, you're just doing what you get paid to do.

    Not necessarily.

I was a line manager for part of my career and although some of those reporting to me worked hard they were not suitable for promotion as they would not have been capable of performing the duties of the next grade.

£50k OTE is not £50k! It's likely a £20k job with commission. Just for those who are getting excited.

The manager is in the poop, the OP has had a fun ride but ultimately has just been thinking with his todger. May be worth realising that a move is inevitable, and may help the manager to keep her job (and her kid's roof, her marriage, etc).

This has Deffo got to be a troll. Says promotion and overtime due to affair then says it was genuinely earned.
Then he says it's all her doing because she would sort out marriage. Also if it was left in lay-by it wouldn't have caused this investigation.

Yeah right either your so stupid to realise or it's a troll.

Use the word no more often then these things wouldn't happen
