I used the cheap ones CCJ. When i got my positive the other day i had tested when I got home from work about 5pm. I got some off ebay 20 for £3.45 inc delivery and they came the next day, too.

1940sgal, we are super excited for NYC! We haven’t booked it yet, just keeping an eye on the prices to try and get a good deal!

Wootsit, mine are only 2 days too, sometimes even only really one! So strange as you say.

How is everyones Christmas prep going? I am hoping to get the last few bits by the end of this weekend and then it is just the task of wrapping it all! I always say I am going to be super organised and be done by the end of October but I never am haha

PKK, I’ve nearly done mine thankfully. Just a handful of small things left to get. I just want it to hurry up and arrive! Though I’m off work from the 21st for 6 days so that’s why I want it to hurry up

PKK glad it isn’t just me with the short periods :rotfl: not complaining really I used to moan so much when I was younger!

I have also done 90% of my Christmas shopping but only being this organised as I go away on Sunday. I have a couple of cop outs though and 3 people are getting money!

1940s it is so nice being off work isn’t it!

Who is everyone spending Christmas with? We both have tiny families so don’t really have traditions. As we are away this year we are going to try and have a bbq and FaceTime the family in the evening

It is my birthday tomorrow - 32 how did that happen?! I am off work but the OH isn’t! I am not 100% sure what to do as I am on my own - might take myself to the village cafe for brunch we are then off to see Wicked in the evening - exciting!!

Ooh Happy Birthday for tomorrow then wootsit! Definitely go and treat yourself!

Up to this year Christmas has always been me, mam and sister on the 25th then me and sis go to Dads and his wifes for Boxing Day. Two very chilled out days stuffing our faces and doing as little as possible but this year fella will be joining us and on 25th we’re going to friends for drinks and games (though here’s hoping I won’t be drinking!)

I only have 2 presents 🙈 but I have a list of what I'm getting so I think we're off shopping at the weekend to get it all.

We're off to my parents in the morning then husbands parents about 1pm for the rest of the day, luckily they live less than 5 minutes apart. Then boxing day we will spend it at my parents. We alternate ever year so next year we will be at my parents for Christmas day. It's weird though because I'm used to having 15+ people at my mum's for Christmas day so to be at the parent in laws where there's only 4 of them it's a big contrast. A lot more chilled out.

Have my Christmas shopping done, wrapped and under the tree. Just the cards to write.

Ugh I'm struggling with myself so much with this hernia, I'm in so much pain with it but I don't really want to delay TTC for 6months+ until I can get the op ... Funnily enough I have Christmas dinner at the weekend and so does DH and I'm due to be ovulating....perhaps a few drinks will make my decision for me lol....
