CCJ, hugs for the BFN. Still early days though! When are you going to hold out till before you test again?

Skimper, I read that using OPK strips isn’t a reliable method of testing so I wouldn’t use those incase they get your hopes up! Best to get some cheapo tests from Home Bargains.

Aunty-Pickle, sorry AF got you! Lots of hugs and chocolate sent your way!

OH’s sperm analysis came back saying there was no sperm in the sample so he has to have a retest in a few weeks. We were abit perplexed by this at first, as was the doctor (he has two sons!), but doing some research online I’ve read this is possible if a male gets a blockage in the tubes. It could just be a dodgy sample and one off though! I am not looking too much in it until the retest but if it’s the same again at least potentially we have found the issue? In some ways at least if you find a problem you can work to resolve it. I have to admit I am not holding out much luck for a BF next week now even though we timed everything perfectly this month!

I know but I couldn't help myself haha. I'm fully expecting AF to arrive anyway, but I might buy a test on Saturday if she hasn't arrived by then.

PKK I hope it's a one off, weird thing that has happened!! Don't know about testing again, DH is getting annoyed at me for testing to begin with. He doesn't really understand what it's like to not know what's happening in your own body.
Wiped early and had one speck of blood....it's not looking good

1940sgal, welcome to you also! If you only came off the pill last month then I think any previous cycles wouldn’t be an accurate reflection anyway. Your cycles can be all over the show for about a year after coming off the pill. Mine were consistent and fine for the first 6 months, then had a crazy two super long cycles, then went back to being quite regular and consistent. Never exact but always around 3-4 days similar in lengths. Let me know if you want to go on the lists.

Has anyone here used those Wilkos OPK strips? I've still not had a positive but the line was noticeably darker today. Do you think that means i am likely to still ovulate? It's quite late in my cycle if so, AF is due in 10 days.

I am going to be MIA for a few days as it is my birthday on Sunday so we are going to visit family.
