Ccj- your not out yet. Some people take longer than others to show a positive. As you say your not out till AF arrives.

Woke up this morning really hungry, which is unusual. Had a cry at I'm a celeb last night & tested with an opk this morning, there was definitely a line there, darker than a negative but not as dark as a positive. I don't want to get carried away though, cos it probably means nothing. If there's no sign of AF at the weekend I'll buy a test, but that usually jinxs it!

So for everyone here who were on the pill, how long did it take to conceive once you came off?

4 months for me - I had more then 4 cycles though as they were all over the place. Had 3 on the trot of 3 weeks. I always seemed to ovulate around day 14 though (used opks), just AF would arrive early.

It's going to kill me. I'm impatient at the best of times and then when something doesn't happen i imagine the worse! :rotfl:

Thank you though! It's good to know it didn't take you too long even with irregular cycles :D

Sorry I'm still learking on here now and again I came off pill in June now 8 weeks pregnant

My cycle went pretty much back to normal within a month or so just was 23 instead of 28 like I was on the pill. I was on Cilest for just over 10 1/2 years

Thank you! I came off mid-October. I got to the end of a pack and never bothered getting a new one. Then this month's period was on time and lasted a day shorter than normal. I've got some more test strips and will keep on with them and i've bought a thermometer to keep track of my temp.

That's exactly what I did we went away for a week discussed while we were away we decided to go for it on the Sunday I was meant to start next pack the following Sunday and just didn't

I used the Ovia app as found Flo a bit too confusing for me lol and I prefered the layout on Ovia.

I used the clear blue smiley face ones expensive but just found them easier than the strips personally (amazon was cheapest for them)

Good Luck and lots of Baby Dust to you xx

  • I’m still lurking as well!

9 months for me 1940sGal but my periods took a long time to settle down. I had long, irregular cycles for 7 months then 2 normal ones and conceived on the third.
