Oh my god PKK I'm so sorry to hear that.
I know exactly what you are going through, it was my cousin that I lost in a tragic accident in September....life will never be the same but we just have to try and be strong and be there for our families.
It's crazy when you hear a name on the news and don't give it a second thought, but when you experience the complete turmoil it brings...really puts things in to perspective.

Thank you CCJ. I am sorry you've experienced similar. The pain is like no other isn't it? I've sadly lost many people in my life, family and friends but it has always been due to a medical reason (cancer, depression etc). For the first time on hearing the news of a death I had to go to the bathroom as I thought I was going to be sick. Luckily we are a strong close family, we just need to be there for my auntie and uncle. Due to the police investigation it will be approx 4 weeks before his body is released and then it's Christmas so we expect it will be the new year before we can hold the funeral.
I have moved myself over to the TWW as I am pretty sure I ovulated on CD17. FF isn't showing it as ovulation yet but my temp increased again today. Plus fertile week is over on FF and Ovia now. We have definitely given it a good go this month! BD every other day since CD 5. So just got to wait it out now!0 -
It really is PKK. Aww that is awful, although sometimes it is a blessing in disguise. I live in Ireland and funerals happen much quicker here, usually 2-3 days after someone has passed. When my cousin passed because of the reports etc it took about a week and a half. Due to shock my auntie and uncle were in no state to arrange a funeral and other people started arranging things that they wouldn't have been happy with and later would have regretted and questioned. Because the extra time, we were able to get everything done as it should have.
You all have a really long road ahead, they say only the good die young and it's absolutely true. My heart goes out to you and your family!
I'm CD26 today so should be expecting AF Tues/wed. I do have to admit I found an old tesco test that was out of date by a month and I was bored last night so I took it and it was neg.
I know most months I think I'm pregnant, but this time I've been weirdly emotional the past few days, crying at people dressing their shop Windows for everyone to enjoy lol ... I would normally be grumpy with AF not emotional. I know we can't pick and choose but I have my heart set on a summer baby and this is really the last month for me, unless next month and I went early. And if I was preg I would tell my parents at Christmas........sorry for the ramble...feels good to let it out lol.Debt Free as of December 2020 👏

I often let my mind wonder about due date and when we could tell people, it's hard not to isn't it? If we got a BFP this cycle it would be an August baby which would mean I was always off work for babys birthday (school teacher) which I like! Although maternity pay wise it is not utilising the summer holidays the best. Teachers tend to want Sept/oct due dates so they can get full pay for the summer holidays and go on 'mat leave' 1st Sept haha
I hope the tears are good signs for you CCJ!
OH sperm analysis came back saying there wasn't enough sample or something weird, so basically he has to retake it, so I think he is desperate for a BFP so he doesn't need to go through that again! haha
Imagine if we all graduated this cycle!0 -
So sorry to hear about your cousin PKK.
My OH has a motorbike and I can't relax when he's out on it.
No symptoms for far for me but I've got at Least 3 days before AF. Can't see myself getting a bfp this cycle or any cycle soon haha.0 -
You've been trying just a little less longer than me I think Skimper haven't you? I feel like that often at the moment!
I had my consultation for a general to have my teeth taken out yesterday. I told the Doctor I am TTC and he was clear that if I got pregnant they would not do the general as the benefit of the general isn't worth the risk of miscarriage. The nurse I then saw next to fill in bits and bobs was adamant with the 'are you SURE you want a general when you are TTC?'. I simply explained to her that we were actually going to be referred for fertility treatment soon so I doubted we even would get pregnant before the op anyway.0 -
Hope you don't mind me posting. I have been lurking on the thread and a guess just wanted advice/support.
I've had a couple of miscarriages now, all before 12 weeks so I guess they are technically chemical pregnancies, anyway.
TTC again and I keep telling myself I am not even going to take a test before 10 weeks then I won't have the disappointment. I'm going to just forget about AF and be completely surprised if it happens and sticks.
CD1 is next week and I'm already thinking about a test. Doh.
Not sure I will make it but not sure I can go through the worry of another miscarriage if I was pregnant.0 -
That would be amazing PKK.
Hi and welcome Dottie, sorry to hear of your losses...this has been a pretty lucky thread the past few months so sending lots of baby dust your way!
Woke up feeling quite sick this morning, although it doesn't happen very often it's not totally unusual for me. Walked past the chemist that sells the frers cheaper than anywhere else and battled with myself not to go in...I didn't. The thought of a negative makes me really want to cry. AF due on Wed...only a few more days...Debt Free as of December 2020 👏

Pkk- Yeah we've had 10 cycles now. AF is due anytime from Wednesday, I never get pre AF symptoms so can never tell if she's on her way. I've not had any other symptoms so far either.
