Starting to feel some slight cramping which isn't unusual considering where I am in my cycle and so I'm guessing AF will be here pretty soon.
PKK, I'm sorry. (and for you CCJ)
One of my cousins was in a vehicle accident and died when he was 24 (over 15 years ago now). It was between Christmas and New years.
Welcome Dottie. Sorry to hear about your losses. I hope you get a sticky bean real soon
As ever, hugs for anyone who needs one.Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
Sorry to hear that auntie pickle.
Woke up early this morning as I went to bed at 9, was so tired. Have woke up with a horrible taste in my mouth, not mettalic just not nice. Feeling a bit sick again so logged it in Flo and it's moved my AF date to start Friday! !!!!!!...it was supposed to be tomorrow and it's moved it!Debt Free as of December 2020 👏

Hello all, thought i'd pop in here for a bit of advice as the fella and I took the decision last month that i'd come off my pill and we'd start trying. It's all very new to me, i'm 35, have no children and up til this year I didn't want any either. Then something changed and i'm broody as hell
Anyway, I've got two apps i'm using to track AF. Ovia & Flo. Both seem to be offering slightly different advice but they're good for keeping track of dates.
What i was wondering is have all your cycles been regular? I've tracked mine since June and they have been anywhere from 24 days to 29 since then. Do you all use something to check when you're ovulating? I bought some Wilko's strips that detect a LH surge but so far this week they've all been negative (though tbf it's only 14 days today since the first day of my last period). The Flo app now tells me i've a low chance of getting pregnant but the Ovia app says i'm possibly at my most fertile now. Of course i might not be having just come off the pill but I thought i was this weekend as I had a break out of spots, pelvic pain and a thick, clear discharge...
Honestly, it's all making my head whirl thinking about it!0 -

DottieDam, welcome to the thread. I am sorry to hear of your losses. I would say to definitely hold out until your AF is late. I know it is super difficult but it helps protect yourself. If you would like to go on the lists left me know your cycle day and I’ll add you.
1940sgal, welcome to you also! If you only came off the pill last month then I think any previous cycles wouldn’t be an accurate reflection anyway. Your cycles can be all over the show for about a year after coming off the pill. Mine were consistent and fine for the first 6 months, then had a crazy two super long cycles, then went back to being quite regular and consistent. Never exact but always around 3-4 days similar in lengths. Let me know if you want to go on the lists.
CCJ, that’s so weird that it’s changed your AF day just because you had a weird taste in your mouth! Are you going to test tomorrow anyway?]
Skimper, fingers crossed for you this week! Are you going to test?0 -
I know! I got two 99p tests on the way home today and a packet of cheapy ovulation strips (thank you savers). Took one of the tests and did an ovulation strip when I got home (think I read somewhere that if you're pregnant it will show positive for ovulation?) Anyway both were negative. I've been so unlike myself the past few days, really emotional. DH came home and was messing about and it !!!!ed me off and I shouted at him to leave me alone then burst into tears....either way my hormones are clearly all over the place lol. Going to do the other test tomorrow.Debt Free as of December 2020 👏

Hello
I was wondering if I could join you lovely ladies?
Me and my husband decided that we were going to start TTC in December
I came off the mini pill on the 11/9 and had a period on the 19/10 - I am currently CD 33 - I don’t appear to have had any symptoms of anything! Last true period was about 2 years ago and they have always been irregular and stupidly long!
I have been on a crazy mission to lose weight to get ready and am currently 5 stone down (still got 1 to go) determined to be fit and healthy! I feel at nearly 32 I need to look after myself haha!
I have just been taking seven seas trying for a baby pills but nothing else - it is a minefield!
My sister in law is currently being induced with her second so will be getting baby cuddles soon - just hoping it doesn’t take me too long!
Looking forward to getting to know everyone! Although I hope everyone graduates swiftly! :j0 -
Welcome to all the newbies. Hope your stay is short & sweet.
Pkk- don't think I'll test, I don't have any in and AF always beats me to it haha. Ovia is predicting Friday for AF so if nothing by Sunday (cd30) I might give in & test.
I would give it a few months to truly know your cycles when coming off the pill, I think ovulation doesn't always come back straight away too even though your having a period, I could be wrong though.0 -
Wootsit don’t forget to take folic acid too, don’t know if it’s inc with the seven seas:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
