  • Thanks Hop!
Omg PKK what happened??! Hope you have a speedy recovery!!

Bought some Asda tests and took one when I got home BFN. Think I'll take the other one in the morning. Have some slight cramps where I would imagine my ovaries are but otherwise no sign of AF. Strangely I have a pimple on my neck...like where my throat is!

Might be grasping at straws here but I wonder if I was pregnant if a test would show. I had a lot of kidney trouble as a child and although I have no problems anymore I do go to the toilet a lot. I drink probably twice what most people would drink in a day, so wondering would my urine show even if I was...

  • Morning everyone :j

Ohhhh PKK I am so sorry to hear that, you poor thing! I hope you aren’t in too much pain, lots of wine and chocolate for you! You could maybe google some cast friendly BD positions if you felt up to it in a couple of weeks lol x

CCJ it may well have an impact if you use the toilet more often as for a lot of people the levels of HCG aren’t high enough yet in the first few weeks so they have to get a blood test to confirm anyway, so that may especially be the case if your urine isn’t as strong(?) as others. Maybe if AF hasn’t arrived by the end of the week ask your GP for a blood test?

I’m still none the wiser as to what’s going on with me. I’m now on day 7 of having a lot of CM. It was a few days of creamy/milky consistency but then yesterday and today it’s clear & stretchy again. So not sure if that means I’m only ovulating now/have ovulated twice/am pregnant.

I’ve never had CM like this before, as in just the sheer amount of it and for this long. Which is making me wonder if I have been ovulating at all since I came off the pill last year despite having had a little EWCM every month, but literally only for a day or 2. Or if I am in fact PG and this is an early symptom.

Kind of hard to know when to test too. For the last few months I’ve got AF around day 34 which would be Sunday. However, if I’m only ovulating now it might not be due until day 44/45 (we’re still BDing just in case)so I could still catch this month and testing too early might disappoint me for no reason.

    What would you girls do?

    Sorry for the ramble xx
  • Hi all,

Just wanted to pop in and say i'm sorry to hear about your broken ankle PKK! how did you manage to do that?

CCJ, that could well be why you are not getting a positive. I would try a Clear-blue, only because i know that's the only thing I've got a positive on!

Buttermint, i don't want to get your hopes up but i had a lot of clear CM before my positive.
  • Ouch PKK!! Hope you are ok?!

I got my positive OPK last thursday but since then I have been experiencing OV pains every day. Still have quite a lot of EWCM too, haven't BD since Saturday. Hoping I didn't OV later than I thought and missed it again.

Hello all, its been a while since I have been on - bu still been lurking!

CCJ - try and give yourself some me time. Last month I was 10 days late - and I drove myself insane with am I/am I not, goign to the loo every 5 minutes t check if the witch had showedup! I was very very stressed at work and it played havoc with me. Hubbie forced me to have a glass of wine, a bath and a read and hey presto next day the witch arrived as I had rlaxed a little! BUT I am still crossing my fingers for you that its a BFP and not stress :)

Well our TTC journey continues. It has only ben 5 cycles so I can't really complain. I am now in the TWW but we managed at least every other day during fertile week this time so we will see.

After lurking for a while I ecided to start posting again as this whole TTC jurney can really play with your head and I know I can be open and honest here and you will all understand :) so thank you

  • Tryingin2018, sorry to hear that you are feeling so low that you have been put on antidepressants. How long have you been TTC now? Has the doctor offered any fertility tests? We are just having the first stage of them now.

Thanks for your get well wishes ladies! I wish I had some elaborate tale of how I have broken it but the reality is…. I was walking! Hahaha I was heading out to have my blood test and then go to work and went over on it accompanied by a large crack! Thankfully I have been given a boot instead of a cast this morning and the doctor was very confident I will be crutch free walking on my boot after a couple of weeks, so hopefully BDing isn’t completely out the window…. I’ll just have to let OH do all the hard work hahaha

I obviously missed my blood test yesterday and annoyingly it was closed randomly today! I am going to hop (literally) in tomorrow which is CD 27. Then I think I will probably do another one on Friday. I will hopefully have still covered all cycle length possibilities!

    WJN222,
welcome! Fingers crossed for this cycle. Would you like to go on the lists? (no pressure!)

  • Oh no PKK! Hope it heals quickly.

    Welcome back WJN222 and Thrift260!

I feel like we may be in with a chance this month. I haven’t used OPKs as weve been on holiday but we have managed to BD every other day for almost 2 weeks and I had EWCM around CD14. Of course I could be completely wrong and end up having another really long cycle.
  • Of course WJN222, what CD are you?

    That sounds very positive Ginger!

Turns out I don't need my blood test tomorrow as my results from Thursday last week came back and the note made by the doc says the it indicates I ovulated! We BD every other day around that time so fingers crossed! It's been a while since I have actually thought we were in with a chance! In the meantime I am going to keep my blood test referral and if no BFP use them next month to check I am ovulating each month.
