WJN222, thanks for the tip I will have a look for them! I have a boot on which can be removed rather than a cast and the doctor said I can remove it for a shower if I want. However at the moment it is way too sore to do that!
Buttermint, I have been thinking about not using contraception until we have finished either! I feel like it isn’t worth it now I understand so much more about the impact it can have on your body!0 -
I agree about wishing Id stopped taking the pill earlier and not wanting to go back on it if theres a chance well want to TTC again! I delayed coming off it for 6 months last year after a holiday where Zika was a risk just in case I got pregnant straight away. Now I feel like I wasted 6 months!0

Sorry to hear you're out, CCJ
Sadly, so am I. Commenced spotting Monday, still not CD1 yet but definitely out. Almost burst into tears, felt so deflated as I thought it'd be lovely if we got pregnant this month; I'll be 30 in nine months' time and thought it just would've been quite nice to have just snuck in before then, and also that we'd probably have been telling our families etc around Christmas. But hey ho, we'll try again this month. Going to have a look at getting some Preseed too, have read good reviews about it so might give it a whirl. Feel better soon PKK!

CCJ no I didn't see that article! It would make me cross too, how insensitive. SO many people take a long time to get pregnant, it's just that they don't shout about it! I am now aware of several people that I know (family, friends or distant friends) who are in differing stages of trying of for a baby/fertility investigations/IVF etc.
Thrift360 sorry to hear that you think AF is on the way. I had a month where I thought it would be perfect timing too, and it just makes it even harder when AF shows her ugly head doesn't it?
CD28 here, my cycles vary so AF is due any day now. Avg is around 31 days at the minute, although last month was a random 25 day cycle!0 -
Hi all! I've been ttc for a 3 years with no luck. I'm going to start IVF for the first time and this new experience scares me. I have so many questions and so many concerns I'm afraid no one can comfort me. I'm worrying about financial part as well. The clinic I've chosen for treatment offers 3 packages for a fixed price, which I found great as I don't need extra fees. However, the only difference in packages is number of transfers. I don't know which one to choose. 1 attempt is almost $6,000, 2- $8,000, 5 transfers with refund in case of 5 negative attempts - $11,600. The last one is pretty attractive and the price is ok for 5 transfer but what if I don't need that many? If I get pregnant after the first cycle (I'm praying for this to happen), I then lose my money. Maybe 2 attempts is the optimal? What do you think?0

Sorry to hear about your difficulty TTC amanda_m. If you are pregnant on the first attempt are you able to keep subsequent attempts that you have paid for to use in future for a second child if you want to have more than one? Which country are you based in (I'm only asking as you put dollars!)?0

AF is due in about 5-7 days for me. My body has been doing strange things this month. Had lower cramping pains for nearly a week now like AF is on her way but I’m not due yet. I don’t know if it’s because I know I timed everything spot on this month that I’m looking for every tiny symptom and I’m more aware of every ache and pain or what really. I just don’t feel right.0

Aww thrift lots of wine and chocolate for us!
