Congratulations HappyLassie! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

My fertile window starts today according to Ovia. My cycles are usually around 33 days but can be anywhere between 28 and 37 days so we are trying to DTD every other day or so throughout the month just to be sure.

Welcome to all the newbies. 6dpo today. Normally have painful BBS and the like by now but feel absolutely nothing. I had pain in my side on and off all day yesterday but I think now I'm in the third month of TTC properly, I look out for every single niggle!!

Celepie I've been experiencing bleeding after BDing, which is the symptom that I am most concerned about rather than the not getting pregnant the cycles going crazy. I have spoken to a doctor today and she said they need to examine me so I've got an appointment next week to have things checked. Hopefully it won't be anything too serious. I've got the take a pregnancy test on the day just to rule that out, I said I'd do one before i went as I have enough to hand! hahaha

PKK I've historically had a lot of bleeding and they found I had a cervical ectropion/erosion (same thing). Fortunately it's perfectly harmless. I've had it cauterised a couple of times but that was long long before TTC so I'm not sure if the would do the same thing if you are TTC (especially as you have to abstain from BD for a little while after). Good luck :)

In money saving news I have a dilemma! I've had to retire a couple of pairs of my jeans as they have got holes in :( So I'm down to 2 pairs, one which will be ok and another which is really high waisted so I can only get away with wearing them when I'm not feeling fat. I don't know if I should buy some more, or if I should wait, or get something like leggings? I live in jeans so getting leggings etc will be questioned by people at work, but maybe if I gradually switch over now blaming the heat it wouldn't be so obvious?? Argh! Any other suggestions?

Hophop Thank you so much for sharing your experience of cervical ectropion/erosion. I have never heard of this and after googling the symptoms I think this could be really likely! I have always found BDing uncomfortable initially and put it down to friction. The NHS website mentions that hormones changes starting the pill could cause it, but as I have just come off after 15 years or so I am wondering if the hormone change of stopping it could have contributed! This has eased my mind somewhat so I really appreciate it.

Regarding your jeans dilemma - don't you hate it when some of your old favourites need to go?! I would get a new pair or two, maybe a cheaper pair (next do some lovely £20 ones) that are a little on the more generous side. Or if you don't mind second hand then check out your local car boot sales and/or eBay!

I also have cervical erosion though I’ve never had any symptoms, I only know because a nurse told me during a smear test! She said it’s nothing to worry about.

Gingersaurus Hoepefully that will be the case for me too, or something else not sinister! I feel calmer now I know I have an app with the doctor and hearing other peoples experiences of similar!

According to Ovia my fertile week is over, so I've popped myself into the TWW. Although this is based on a 33 day cycle and my cycles have been 49 and 42 days recently.... so who knows when AF is due! hahaha We only DTD twice in the fertile window because of the bleeding, so if it is accurate then I'm not holding out much hope!
