Hi all. Having a lovely weekend, 5dpo now and really not trying to symptom spot...only thing that is slightly odd this month is the fact that after ovulation my BBS and nips normally REALLY hurt. This month not a thing !!!129300;

I had to test today for Clearblue study and thought I!!!8217;d update you all. I got a BFP on clear blue digital. So I am 4weeks and 2 days pregnant! We are so excited but it just doesn!!!8217;t feel real yet, I don!!!8217;t think it!!!8217;s sunk in.

Long time lurker/first time poster

I was wondering if I could join the thread please? My husband & I are TTC and as I don’t have much of a support network of other mums or girlfriends I would really appreciate the help and advice offered here.

Here’s the story so far..I came off the Cerazette mini pill in September last year. As I never got AF at all with this pill, I wanted to give them a chance to come back before TTC so we kept using other protection, however they haven’t really come back to ‘normal’ at all since;

First bleed after coming off was September 14th 2017 (withdrawal bleed from pill I think, not actual AF) followed by a 28 day cycle to
October 12th 2017- then 33 day cycle to
November 14th 2017- 53 day cycle to
January 6th 2018- 46 day cycle to
February 21st 2018- 52 day cycle to
LMP-April 14th 2018

So as you can see, really long cycles every time. We started TTC in April and now something weird has happened….

*Sorry if TMI in this next bit*

My LMP was 14th April so according to my tracking app my next one wouldn’t be due until 1st week of June (based on average of 50 day cycle since stopping pill). However I started getting spotting/light bleeding (brown/light orange/pink colour blood) on May 17th.

I had read about implantation bleeding, and considering I never ever getting spotting before AF, and it was really early, I thought that it may be this and got a little excited I could be getting pregnant. However, on Friday night it got much heavier like AF and has continued to do so.

I’m so confused and don’t understand what’s going on. What are the chances that the month we start trying I suddenly go back to an almost normal length cycle (33 days this time based on LMP) or could this be something else?

These long cycles and now this random bleeding is making it impossible to work out when I’m actually ovulating. I tried the Clear Blue OPKs to try and determine it when we started TTC, but it gave me my first high fertility reading for the first time the same day I started bleeding! So confused!

Anyone have any words of wisdom? We’re only at the start of this journey and already I hate google!

I!!!8217;m in a similar position to Buttermint, I!!!8217;ve been reading for a while but this is my first post. No-one knows we are TTC so I don!!!8217;t have anyone to discuss it with in real life other than my husband.

I came off the pill in January after 15 years and my first cycle was 49 days. I!!!8217;m currently on day 63 of cycle 2 and starting to get a bit frustrated! I!!!8217;m a control freak and like to plan everything so I!!!8217;m not coping well.

Has anyone had a similar experience? How long did it take for your cycles to return to a normal length after coming off the pill?

Sorry, I can.t give any advice regarding cycles as mine were regular once I had had my first cycle coming off the pill,
Just wanted to say welcome both and hope your stay is short.
I.m sure someone was/is having irregular cycles so I am sure there will be some advice for you. X
