Congrats Dot What fab news for you for xmas!

My SiL announced their expecting baby no2 today which is fab news as they lost a baby earlier this year so really happy for them ( a tiny part of me is a bit jealous as spending time with my 11-month-old niece today just made me want it oh so badly).

Merry Christmas all! I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday, however you chose to spend it.

I enjoyed a fair few glasses of fizz last night! haha

Myself and OH also spoke last night and have agreed that we are going to make a real effort next month to conceive as we would want to ease off in Feb/March due to when the due date would be if we did get pregnant. Of course if we did them months we would still be super excited, but we won't be monitoring OV and trying to time it right in those months just taking the relaxed approach.

As the new year is coming up I am going to restart the lists on 1st January. To make sure I've got everyone that is still on the board, and anyone that is a new and wants to be added, please could you just pop a quick message on the confirm what day in your cycle you are (CD?) and whether you are two week wait, if in doubt BD or wine and chocolate zone please If you could pop it on before 31st that would be perfect

I was going to do something similar! Not try very hard in march/April because a December or January birthday isn't much fun (and I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid December next year.....) but not going to prevent and will still be pleased if it does happen

I am currently cd 23 and I think two week wait but not sure when or if I ovulated so it's a guess really

Not a surprise as I was abroad without DH during OV time.

Going to take this month more seriously now. Have my cheap OPKs and ordered some Concieve Plus. Fell pregnant using that last time round so worth a try!

Thank you for all the messages everyone, it was the best Christmas present.

Told our parents now, OH parents reaction was brilliant and just how I imagined, mine were more shocked but they are happy about it think they just need time for it to sink in. My mum messaged me yesterday to say my dad keeps saying our baby is having a baby over and over!

Lavenderbee- I did say that!! I had only been and gone mad on 25% off wine a few weeks ago too ready for Christmas! I was having pink lemonade instead :rotfl:

Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas, I agree with been a bit more relaxed to avoid Dec/jan birthdays. I'm a January birthday and it is a bit rubbish! Nevertheless if you do get BFP il be very happy for you! Xx

CD10 here so guessing OV will be around NYE.

Ditto the trying to avoid Xmas, my friend from work just had her little girl on Christmas day this year, and her older daughter is a few days before Xmas so can't imagine how much that'll cost each year.
