I know! It seems like unless it's come up in conversation with another woman, you don't know! I've also previously been on the pill and struggled to regulate my cycles afterwards, I end up having too many periods too close together.
I sometimes think the NHS ought to do 2 contraception leaflets, one for school girls and one for grown ups in relationships!0 -
I guess you spend so long asking questions about how not to get pregnant when you are younger you don't even consider what will happen when you want to!
I am CD33 today... last two cycles have been 30 days, Ovia said AF was due today. No sign as of yet. My heart starts to get hopeful and wonder 'could I be?' but then my head reminds it that my cycles won't be consistent yet and I was ill for 4 days or so with a viral infection a couple of weeks ago and I've read online that being poorly can delay ovulation and therefore AF. It may be that AF comes tonight/tomorrow night so will see what position I am in at the weekend!0 -
A couple of years ago during routine appointment for birth control pills they kept trying to push other types on contraception on me but I always remembered my pill and tolerated pop well. I was poorly on normal contraceptive pills so didn't want to risk change and also knew some other types had some complication risks or lasted longer and I knew at some point soonish we might try so kept saying no . Wondered if the cost for birth control pills had gone up or something as it seemed weird to push it (I think I'd have been 27 and planning our wedding so thinking about babies soon seems fairly likely)
According to my apps as of Friday (Well it is technically Friday now) I'm out of fertile window and on 2ww. Think I'm 2dpo? Does this sound right?
Good luck everyoneTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
Selement - I also went through a brief period probably around that age when they started to ask me if I wanted to consider the injection or implant rather than the pill. My response was simply... no thanks I'd rather not have something stuck into me! I take others med every day so taking my pill has never been a chore, I even always remember when to restart after my week break. One of the doctors explained it was due to the length of time I had been taking the pill, so it could be the same reason they were asking you.0

Yep, they really pushed the injection / implant to me for years (from 28 til I moved docs 2 years ago). I think it is largely due to the costs, but the nurse always accepted my reasons for not swapping (initially wanting to avoid risking new side effects then I had been hoping to TTC some time ago so with both of these I wanted an easily reversible method; didn't want something stuck in me etc.)MFiT challenge #60

Hi all
Hope everyone is well.
I'm cd29 today, going by last months cycle which was 27 days I'm now 2 days late, but the month before that it was 29days... before that I was 28days for months so I tend to use 28days for my tracking apps which should have meant coming on today.
I caved and did a test just now which was negative. I know it could still be a little bit too early to test but it was completely blank so my hopes aren't up. Hoping that if AF is coming it comes sooner rather than later, feels cruel teasing me like this0 -
Ah sorry for the negative Dot! I am CD34 today and cabed too, although it was when I got home from work... negative for me too! So now just got to waiting for horrid AF to arrive too.0
-
Sorry that you got negative too, it's awful just waiting isn't it! I was the same I did my test after work but read that if its after a late period it shouldn't matter what time of day that you test.
I've got my sisters birthday party to go to tonight so I wanted to know before then to avoid drinking if needs be. I'm testing using pretty cheap tests so if no sign still today I might do another x0 -
CD1
I can’t even be bothered to be disappointed0 -
Oh I'm sorry Slothsocks
I tested this morning and still negative so I'm just playing the waiting game for AF to come x0
