I've been AWOL for ages! Been so busy with hospital appointments with my shoulder (still no diagnosis) work and activities with my wee girl!

Also had a labour de-brief this week to go over my first labour and have it explained why it went wrong and ended up being traumatic. Was more for DH sake than mine. Was good to have and now he is fully on board with TTC so we are no longer NTNP and I've ordered some cheap OV sticks :j

    Congratulations Freddie and Mrs Fred.

    Can i be.updsted to CD 16, 2DPO please.

  • Hope list is all correct!

It's a nightmare if you leave it too long.

I'm sorry slothsocks that must be such a difficult position to be in.

A friend of ours is well on the way to adopting a little girl. I only just found out that she'd been trying for a long time and had multiple miscarriages. She was told that she wouldn't be offered NHS IVF unless she had another misscarriage but she just couldn't face that happening again. They couldn't have afforded to pay for private treatment. They're so happy to be having a child in their lives now though.

Just have to do the right thing for you.

  • Freddie - you've got me on there twice - today is CD6 (AF just about finished so awaiting OV).
Welcome back Toots - sorry to hear your first was traumatic, but glad your OH is now on board after the debrief (mine has been resisting TTC #1 for a long time partly because hearing the horrors some of our friends and family have been through has terrified him - I'm sure men take it all much worse than we do)

  • Slothsocks - I hope that decision is one you don't need to make. However I have to say I think I personally would give it one go, I'm not sure I could handle the what ifs of not. I suppose it does depends on the total cost and personal circumstances though and it is easy to say what you would do when it's not your decision! How are you feeling about the decision now you've had a little time to think about it?

I think it's about time I braved joining the list! We have started trying this month but as I said, we are being quite relaxed about it. I am CD26 and I guess in the two week wait category!

Ovia has that it a week till AF however, I'm not convinced by cycle has settled yet so I'm not taking it as too accurate! I don't think we have caught this month anyway.

  • Thanks for lists.

I haven't bothered to do temps as I don't have right sort of thermometer.
Today and yesterday I did start using my cheap opk but only negative so far, it may still be a bit early but I realise I might miss it anyway as it can be less than a day, it's only my first proper cycle so not worrying too much!

Currently CD25.. about 12dpo. Feeling a bit more chilled out this month. I haven't felt very well at all the last 4 or 5 days, this cycles been really sucky had awful OV pains and then seemed to have picked up some sort of bug this week which has wiped me out guessing picked it from school as lots of my class are ill. I've been trying hard not to read into anything..especially as think if y timings right only got one in the right time. On to the next month suppose. Hope everyone is ok :)
Swagbuckling since Aug 2016 - Earnings so far.. £55.

Really glad to hear you're feeling more chilled out, Zeni. Honestly it's the best thing I ever did :)

I hate any kind of ovary pain (currently have a good old cyst I'm bleeding into, nice ) - it's so difficult to ignore and I'm sure people just think you have trapped gas as you gasp and wince and try and get comfy!!!
