That makes me feel better Claire
I won't talk to anybody about OPKs or temping in RL because I know they will tell me to chill out, but 'chilling out' isn't an option for me and with the gynae problems I have, I feel like if it doesn't happen at least I can give the Doctors exact details about my cycle straight away.:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I love that people, websites etc say about doing opk's at 2pm.
I have visions of women ttc everywhere running off to the loo dead on 2pm0 -
^ I've definitely POAS at work! In fact, I found out I was preggers in the loos at work! It was at lunchtime, so I probably looked dazed & fraught for the rest of the day.
Oh I never talk about my TTC journey with anyone IRL. The only time I slightly delved into it was when my friend was only having AF every other month, so I recommended OPKs. I think everyone I know would class me as a crazy person if they realised how obsessive I got about it :rotfl:DS - 08/15

Just wait until you're using OPKs as early pregnancy tests like I did... (don't do this, I was fully in crazytown)!0
-
Only OH knows about my opk habit and cycle tracker app, no-one else IRL. Glad to have this community where everything goes from opks, to temping, to cm inspection, to ntnp :-) Whatever feels right to you.0

Well, my body decided do what it does best and kick me in the teeth yesterday-would have been my 12 week scan (well, actually 12.5 weeks, but never mind) and it gave me my period. Ah well, at least I know op seems to have been successful
Was very sad yesterday but now it's a new beginning.
I'm determined not to become obsessed, so won't use OPKs (prior to MMC I knew from my body when it was happening anyway-after 17 years on the pill and 5.5 with a mirena coil it was a bit weird to actually HAVE cycles! Hopefully they will be the same now anyway, as my dr put it, if I have 23-25 day cycles it just means I have more chances to get pregnant!)
Obviously if I am not picking up my cues or things don't seem to be as regular then I may have to rethink things...0 -
Sorry that it's such rubbish timing hotcookie, but at least you can see the positive in the new beginning.
I had a strong positive on opk at about 5pm yesterday, very helpful when OH got home early hours of this morning and was absolutely not in the mood - he couldn't even keep his eyes open long enough to get undressed to get into bed.
I feel mean for being annoyed with him - he'd started a new job and done a flight and a 14 hour day on Mon and similar yesterday for training and then had to fly home so I should be more understanding, but now I'm worried we have completely missed the window:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

kirsty it may well be too late but do an opk today too and it can't hurt if OH can find the energy! I used to get positives for 2 or 3 days so was never quite sure when I actually ov'd as it should technically have been within a few hours of a positive. Can't hurt to try!!
Working away etc is always a spanner in the works unfortunately but fingers crossed.
hotcookie - so sorry to hear that, but onwards and upwards. I have everything crossed for you xOfficially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170
