  • Sorry to hear about AF Athens but glad your cycles are getting shorter.

I'm starting to feel down again, I normally feel excited when I am about to reach testing point but now I just feel like it ain't gonna happen. Really annoyed at myself but I just can't control my mood swings.

I'm going out today and will be out tomorrow too so keeping busy. AF due tomorrow or Monday. No symptoms pointing either way so far except a lot of watery CM yesterday. Got no tests in house so need to buy some today and will test in the morning.

  • Got a faint line on my opk. Still not a positive but haven't had a line at all yet. So looks like my body is sorting itself out after my MC.
OH is still away, back next week after seven weeks away so no BD this time. Maybe a valentines conception

kirtsypoos I think it is frustrating with men who perhaps don’t understand we are only fertile for 3-5 days of the month and they are fertile all the time! Temps can definitely take a few days to rise fully though. Although OPKs only indicate that the LH surge which predicts ovulation in the next 12-24 hours but your body can change its mind and choose to ovulate later than that!

Zeni that’s right. Temperature first thing before you get out of bed!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend xx
  • Pass me some of that wine AthensGeorgia. CD1 for me :(

I was thinking of joining the 12+ months thread but it seems there's been no posts there for a couple of weeks. I think I probably just fit into the bracket of needing medical help now and will need some advice and support on what to expect from taking that path

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Sorry AF got you Rachylou, you too AthenaGeorgia.

Rachylou have you spoken to your GP about possible next steps in the past at all? I have booked a drs appointment for 6th Feb (had to wait 4 weeks for a routine appointment!) to ask if my thyroid and iron levels can be checked. AF is due Friday so if it still hasn't happened this month I might be asking my GP more questions about options...

I don't yet feel any different this month than normal I don't think. There was no evidence of an 'implantation bleed' but am I right in thinking it doesn't happen to everyone? I do have backache, but I think that is more as a result of being in the car for 6 hours yesterday. The only thing that's a bit unusual is that I have totally gone off tea. It might be psychological but I normally drink 3 or 4 cups a day. I have been cutting down to 2, but haven't had one in a few days now. I made myself one this morning and thought I would sit down and enjoy it, but I just didn't fancy it.

    Anyway hope everyone is ok.

No luck on the OPK today, will be interesting to see when OV actually comes!

Am currently awaiting the arrival of my niece, my brother and his wife were trying for over 3 years before they finally got pregnant and shes due any day now. No medical problems were found, it just seemed like it didn't want to happen for them..and then suddenly it did. Sometimes it semes the human body is just an odd thing.

Yes Chelle. My GP has been fully supportive and we are already on our way to testing. I just need the information about what happens if they find an issue with OH's sperm or me if I have to have gynae tests - do we immediately get referred for fertility treatment or is there a lot of further testing, waiting lists, hurdles?

I know people who have been through it and all the stories are different and they are all different catchment areas so I wonder if that is the key/answer to how things are handled and how long we wait
