  • Hi Lovelies,

So we've had some pretty devastating news over the weekend, and it means we'll be taking a break from TTC for...well, a long time. At least 6 months probably. I wish you all the very best of luck but I'll be bowing out for now.

    xx

    Hi everyone,

Still no joy here so made the decision to see our gp today (we're lucky we can get same day appointments). I was expecting him to tell us to keep trying and come back in a few months. But he has booked me in for bloods and told DH to expect a call from the hospital tomorrow to have his count checked.

Feeling a mixture of emotions now, partially that we might start making progress, but also the realisation that something could be wrong.

Have also been in touch with a reflexologist who says she 'may' be able to help. Not sure whether to give this a go?

    Take care Claire x

Welshkitty, that's great you didn't get fobbed off. Hope the tests don't take too long.

This may be a silly question but what day should you generally ovulate around? I'm wondering if I've missed it as started OPKs at day 14, or its not happened yet or its just all messed up due to coming off the pill.

    Evening ladies,
I haven't really been on as nothing much happening here - still impatiently waiting on ovulation :(

I'm sorry to read that a few of you are having a particularly rough time at the moment. I feel like I'm just getting started on my journey and can't fully relate to what some of you have been through and are going through right now. Nonetheless, I appreciate you all sharing your experiences.

Similarly to Welshkitty I've been to the docs today as getting increasingly frustrated at lack of trying opportunities. Fully expected to be fobbed off with 'give it time' but was actually referred for bloods and to the infertility clinic to try and get to the bottom of my lengthy cycles. I feel a bit better knowing that the ball is rolling and feel quite lucky to get referred straight away. Made an appt for my bloods next week and just have to wait on word about the clinic referral.

Zeni, I OPK'd from CD10, I assumed I would OV on CD14 and I actually got my positive OPK on CD13 so probably did OV on C14, but my OPK was negative that day - hope that makes sense!
