car lease company sent wrong car

Except that that improvement in secondary safety - survivability in a collision - comes at a VERY big price in primary safety - especially in visibility. New drivers need all the help they can get in that department.
B'sides, I thought we'd all agreed that the recipient of this car wasn't going to crash anyway, and the difference between the two specs of Fiat 500 won't make a bit of difference if she does.0 -
Even the occupants of the old land rover discovery will fare worse than a modern espace

Oh i know, i was referring to the other posters.
I think i said earlier but my sons previous girlfriend, her family did that for her. Brand new Fiat 500 Pop in white on a lease.
In fairness she really looked after of it and i never saw it dirty let alone scratched.
I should probably come clean and admit that part of the reasoning behind buying a Picanto recently was so I could give it to my daughter in a couple of years. And to make sure the car we owned was not going to be expensive to Insure when she passed her test and wanted to borrow a car.
It also fits the bill for the wife's business use. Saving the HP payments in fuel alone at the moment. Was slightly depressing to see it is fast approaching 10k miles already.0 -
Could the dealer have mixed the plates up when then prepared the vehicles? Meaning when you came to insure the car the reg did list the car as a Pop model and not the lounge as that's what the Reg no was registered to.
When I insured my old Clio, I gave the numberplate, told them the car make and model. They never mentioned any issues or anything.
When the documents came through, the numberplate was wrong by one digit. Checked that number plate online and it didn't come back to a Renault. Rang up and got it changed no issue, but shows that it can happen.0 -

Does a smaller car heat up quicker than a larger car, given that a larger car will have more glass0 -

Would be more relevant to see a Disco 3 against the Espace.
Could be worse though you could be in an old Golf.
Now they really are dangerous places to be in these days, probably get wiped out by a Smart ForTwo.0 -

Not that I have noticed.
And my first car with working AirCon was in '99.
There are variables, tinted glass or not tinted glass and if it has privacy glass behind in the rear it will also remain cooler, you could feel the difference in the summer between a Galaxybwith or without privacy glass in the rear.0
