Morning everyone! I have four hours child-free (so excited) so blitzing the Master bedroom. I know I'm off list, but I seriously need to tidy up this room.

Top to toe cleaning, tidying and flinging!

    Morning all

The fella didn't show up yesterday  The water level has dropped but it's still blocked. I'm going to give him until lunch time (which is a full 24 hours) before I call him again. He was working in Manchester yesterday, and since I'm in Liverpool he couldn't really just pop in! DD says the drain stinks, I can't smell it though as I have a stinking cold. Most annoying for me is its a brilliant laundry day....and I can't do any! And for me to wash the dishes will require me filling the bowl up and doing it outside (I am not attempting to carry a full washing up bowl outside lol) then chucking the water on the garden rather than down the drain. I also need a shower, but I daren't use the water upstairs too much in case the blockage is in the sewer bit and starts backing up up there!

Todays plan is to get my books ready to be put out next week as DD is still doing her homework.:mad: I have the feeling its going to be a long day.

    Tea break time.

One half of my bedroom is clean, clear and smelling fresh :j

Have hauled out all the gibble under the bed, so that's next. The room looks much better. Sheets were changed yesterday and I have sorted out all my maternity clothes for Cousin's wife who is expecting in November, plus a big bag of goodies for the primary school rummage sale on Saturday.

    Go Dizzy!

Boo to the blocked drain Nicki - not nice at all. I hated not being able to run water when we were flooded so you have my sympathies. Hopefully the drain chap will turn up soon!

    Ok - let's do this!

(((Hugs))) Valli. I hope things perk up really quickly.
Hope the eye test went smoothly Kazwookie. I got a reminder too, on 7th April!
Thank you for letting us know the cat's perking up, Frizzle.
    Quick drain clearing vibes, Nicki.
I hope the bloods went smoothly, CY and the results are as good as they could possibly be.
    Missing Piggers, and Dusty.
LW, if he's getting garden exercise with the ball and is happy that's all anyone can hope for. Love the image of delicate you in Mr LW's wellies.
Love the throw, Mrs MP. Are they teeshirts?
    to everyone else.

Brittany was lovely yesterday and I now can't find anywhere to cram all of the stuff we bought for a big party on Friday. The place looks like an explosion in a warehouse, but relatively cleanish. More to do but I'm getting there.
    Better is good enough.

Nothing worse than bad drains nikki.
Our drain in the back garden is a bit whiffy and has been since we moved in last summer. I guess I need to get someone in or find someone with rods???!! I don't really know what is needed but I guess it will be down to me to sort!!

Not a lot done so far apart from little miss injections, shopping, dinner prepped and washing hung on the line. Now got my physio appointment.

I have just spent most of the day in the kitchen. I have emptied 3 cupboards. Sorted, washed, dried, edited and swopped around. Glasses are now in the corner cupboard on the top unreachable shelf. Supplies to make twinks are in the top of the school cupboard. Juicer has been scrubbed and is up for sale on FB, along with scales and Peter Rabbit crockery.

2 load Wm out on whirlie.
