Morning all. Hugs to CY, Valli, Frodders and anyone else who needs them.

No flying here this morning as I'm about to start the paid stuff. New boss wants an early start today - he'd better not make a habit of it.

    Have a great day everyone.

Lynne , yes we've already decided where to go at may half term, booking it today!

dancemum , not sure how old your ds is, but we use Squeebles for spelling (mine are 8 and 5), you can put in your own tests, you record yourself saying the words, my kids love doing that bit. They also do good maths apps.

Right, first day of term, must get children moving and me off to work x

Sticks and spoons to help yourselves to.
Hope everyone is as well as can be.
Pigpen hope you are back soon but most importantly hope you see alright.

Got a text off friends hubby he's round tomorrow to check bathroom out to give us a clearer idea of what's going to be done and what prep will be needed. So I need to do the bathroom as well as the lists.
Work won't be done until summer but can't wait to start making definate plans on how it will look.

Thanks for your suggestions. DS2 is 13. He is an excellent at 8 his reading age was 14, but has trouble spelling. He has delayed speech so this could be part of the cause.

Wm is on and kitchen s&s after breakfast

I ran errands yesterday from 9am until 6.30pm by which time I was too tired to do anything other than put the shopping away! Today is paid stuff all day. I have lots of bitty things to sort so I suspect it will take me the best part of the day to get it all done. Just when I thought I'd got away with any more surprises from this house until I do the next stage of decorating, my kitchen drain is backing up and over flowing in the yard. Thankfully we have a paving slab deep step up from that drain onto the actual patio part, but it's flooding all down the side of the kitchen extension and if we keep on using the water then the yard will eventually flood. Phoned the landlady and she told me to phone the builder so now I'm waiting on them arriving to unblock it. For the past week or so I've been blaming the dog peeing in the same place, it would seem I was wrong :o:o

Tired out - just done almost 4 hours worth of dictation with only a few breaks and got another tape in but thankfully not as long. Just going to do a quick tidy around for now. Sorry no time to post properly but everything is OK here x

Having a declutter/kondo in spare room and so far have filled 3 banana boxes with cross stitch mags for the CS, threw away load of pens that don't work and a recycling bag full of old mags and papers.
    We have too much stuff!
