Not really that long Kaz, I got the squares cut out and all sewn together Friday afternoon and the backing sewn on and top stitched all round this morning.
Kitchen is almost tidy now but it didn't take much with last weeks blitz.

  • Hello
Was missing last week as not up to much however mad dash needed end of week as DD came to stay with 3 friends. Also been decluttering as per Mari Kondo. Managed to clear quite a bit of the kitchen but need to get back to it. My intention is to follow flylady as much as possible to keep areas clear and catch up with the cleaning.
Kitchen looking good, all clear after dinner and several items from fridge used up for dinner so will be able to clean that out tomorrow.

Fluttering as and when I can this week, as most of my energy will be taken up with looking after Ollie.

LW what a lovely dog Ollie looks, I hope he isn't too big for you to handle though.
Good evening everyone, I missed last week as I have been down with the flu and still feeling fragile. As this is the last week before my holiday I will be following my own list, as I have so much that I need to get completed.

Glad you are feeling better MMM, take it slowly this week and don't rush into things.

CY hope your appointments went okay today xx
Piggers, hope you are doing okay and look forward to seeing you back here soon. Don't worry about the lists sweetie, I can always keep doing them weekly, or coerce one of the lovely ladies to co-host with me if necessary :D

I'm still snotty and phlemy from this darn flu/infection thingy... I'm on my 6th week of feeling horrible and not being able to breathe/talk and constantly coughing. Luckily I don't feel so knackered as I did in the earlier weeks.. I'm not pushing myself so much now, and Dave knows also that he has to help out much more, which he is prepared to do. And that I'm really surprised at.

It probably doesn't help that I'm nearly 3 months into my intensive therapy sessions and they are going really well, but rough going. And there is a lot going on at the unit too which is impacting on how I am doing i.e. we are changing some of the therapy groups around...plus we are also under threat of closure..after being open since 1998 and winning awards the blooming NHS want us to find better ways to get more bods on seats.. Interesting if it does close as there is absolutely nothing else like this in Kent that caters for my MH. So what are they going to offer instead I have no idea..bloody government cuts!!!!!!!!!!

I have done a bit of flying today, inbetween sleeping..lol Folded one load of washing up ready for Dave to put away later tonight, washed up the things from today. Have a pinky wash load in the machine...Oh and made the bed...lol

Have you tried reading eggs spelling app. It's ine thy i have heard a lot of people talking about. There is a free app and then you can buy the different year groups. Might be worth having a look at.

I wish my kitchen always looked like it does right now. A little pile of clutter in the corner but the work tops and floor are clear and it smells so clean!!! Love it! I'm sure tomorrow it will be a mess again!!! Sometimes I miss living in my own where everything stays as you left it!!! Lol!

    Not much left....

    Put up picture in nursery
    Ds1 spellings
Clean the icky filters and drawer on the wm.
