Boo staff bank have just rang to say they have cancelled two of my early shifts :( That's the trouble if someone does a long day then the 1/2 shifts get cancelled, so that's £40 per shifts :(

So far one is still being shown a booked and nothing I like the look of for the other.

Got to really start pushing the holiday savings, if we want to take the amount of spending we do, then we have to find £335 extra a month! This is from October though so should have a bit between now and then (have race tickets to buy before then). I'm already planning £200 instead of £100 from my wage and extra shifts a month.

Race tickets (full package + extras) = $499 each, tickets on sale in September. Currently that £390 each.

Spent a little today for food for work but will have 2 NSDs Thur + Fri. Also extra pay is this Friday so should have £70-80 for holiday (spends if needed this month) next payment is 19th August £140-160.

So I have decided to sort out my savings accounts, I currently have:

    Virgin
    Natwest
    Nationwide
    Halifax x 3

I'm not sure of all interest rates, one is an ISA and all or easy access so pretty low.

    I need the following:

    Holiday - flights 0/1500 - ?
    Holiday - spends 0/2000 - May 2017
    Holiday - tickets 200/600 - September 2016
    Rental deposit - 0/2000
    Emergency - 0/1000
    Spends - no target

I have also opened a Halifax reward account so when I am paid I will transfer my wages from Lloyd to Halifax before transfering to Natwest and I shall set up 2 credit card DD to make sure I get the £5 reward.

I would love to save x% each month but realistically I can't :( 10% is just too much, maybe I can try for 5% of main wage and 10% of extra wages, going into one of the above savings accounts.
