So worked all my cashplus payments out on YNAB and it should be cleared with my wage on 24th October. The £50 payment can then either go on to Barclaycard Initial or Virgin. I'd prefer Virgin as that isn't in my name and has the highest balance. Think I'm going to have a set figure of £15 a month to Barclaycard initial for the rest of the year, that should be £10 a month off the balance taking it down to £300.
If I can budget for everything (excluding holiday cc) just fine, then I can use any extra money to go towards debt & holiday.
Since writing post #71 I have reworked my budget and included the following
£145 spends
£95.04 Capital One (current food balance)
£100 food
£100 holiday fund
It leaves me with £0.38 if I have worked my wage out currently.
I've started to get used to nYNAB, still not sure I'll subscribe as UK banks/credit cards can't be linked yet.Student nurse 2018 to 2020

I think I have gone crazy on overtime shifts, I now need to make sure I don't cancel them for 'I can't be bothered' reasons.
15th July - 11.5 hrs - £81.60 on 29th July
27th July - 10 hrs - £71.10 on 12th August
2nd + 5th August - 21.5 hrs - £152.50 on 19th August
9th August - 6 hrs - £41.62 on 26th August
15th + 19th August - 16 hrs - £112.72 on 2nd September
29th August + 1st + 4th September - 34.5 hrs - £226 on 16th September * not including unsocial work night & weekend & bank holiday
5th September - 11.5 hrs - £81.60 on 23rd September
That could really make a dent in the holiday savings & debt. I go back to uni in October so won't be doing as much then.Student nurse 2018 to 2020

My capital one balance is currently £152.69 so have reduced the 'food' money accordingly, that now stands at £42.73.
So far for September I have £16 spending money and I need £125 for train fair!Student nurse 2018 to 2020

So I turned down the opportunity to interview for a great job with the local police force. I would be making the same as I am now including unsocial but I'd be losing out with the cost of travel and not having days to do extra work. I was surprised I even got an interview.
My OH on the other hand had an interview and got offered a job the same day. It's not better paid than his current one but it will make him much happier.Student nurse 2018 to 2020

So the 5th August shift has been cancelled, so only getting £81.60 that week. I may however change a few shifts to include an extra 11.5hrs on 5th August to replace the cancelled one and do 11.5hr shift on 25th August instead of 10 hrs on 27th August. I shall phone tomorrow if they are still there, if not no biggy.
So far all those shifts are coming in as over £500!Student nurse 2018 to 2020

Well I decided to phone up now and the 25th 11.5hr shift has already been taken but I have booked the following:
5th Aug 11.5hr shift so that week increases to 22.5hrs @ £159
17th Aug 11.5hr shift to bring that week to 17.5hrs @ £124 (canceled the 10hr shift)
30th Aug 6hr shift to bring that week to 40.5hrs @ £267 (on annual leave so basically working a full week)
I shall bring in a total of £825 ish. Well on the way to paying off bills and having money for Nascar ticketsStudent nurse 2018 to 2020

So my extra money won't be going on everything I would have wanted it to!
My OH has gone way over his OD so have had to try and figure out how much he will be charged and look as which DD/OS can be cancelled for the month. At basic he has £70ish (plus OD if really really needed). My payments to the the holiday credit cards will be the only payments and won't be till I get the extra money in.
Our outings are doing down fast - 2 x airshow to 1 x airshow to poss no airshow.
We will both have to set a weekly budget and stick to it. No buying anything we don't NEED this coming month!Student nurse 2018 to 2020
