  • My post from the other thread:
what really annoys me, is they're trying to send us to Ciao via. a referral link meaning that they will get credit for referring us to them!
That was another site which used to be good, until they changed it.

I've claime £10 in the past from Juicy brains, and have £2.50 , I assume this will go down the drain
    Money grabbing b*******.
There has to be some clause somewhere in our rights saying that they can't take our monkey away like this. If a thousand members lose out on £4 that's £4000 they make just like that :S

I've sent them a snotty e-mail and have also e-mailed Consumer Direct to see where we stand .

I've got £2.50 in my account, it's not a lot, but I don't see why they can't issue an Amazon voucher for it - after all, I've earned it. I think they probably won't be answering emails, so I'm going to call them on 020 7043 1000 (from their contact details here) and I suggest anyone else who's unhappy about the cavalier way they're treating panellists does likewise!
Do let us know what they say/said.
  • Part of an email that I wrote to them tonight:
It comes as a great disappointment to me to learn that you are not going to completely close out everyone's account with a FULL payment of what they EARNED. It would have been a lot easier and fairer to tell us that you would be ceasing operations on 10th December and any money left in our account on that day would automatically be changed to Amazon vouchers and sent to us. What is going to happen to the money that people earned yet cannot cash out in £5 increments? Are you going to keep THEIR money? What rewards are the people who only have £4.75 in their accounts going to get? I am sure you understand that those people put a lot of time and effort into providing a service to you and your clients and the fact they are not to be compensated seems grossly unfair. After all, it is not our fault that you are ending this panel, yet we seem to be getting penalised for it. I urge you to pay everyone exactly what they are owed as this misconduct greatly damages your carefully built up reputation and does not bode well for current Juicy Brains panel members joining your new Juicy Brains Community venture.

Well, I know they're ignoring my emails... Will send another one later, see if persistence will get me a response and an explanation.

  • Wonders if Watchdog would be interested?

Not that I have any idea how to contact them and I probably wouldn't bother for the amount.

It doesn't matter what amount you stand to lose alone, it's the amount of everyone all together added up!
Im sure reporting to Watchdog would be interesting to see what they say! lol :rotfl:

I've also sent an email to express my dissatisfaction. Don't expect a reply but that wasn't going to stop me.
