Finished for the day - 16 hours after I started  Doubt I'll sleep much past 4am thanks to the dawn chorus right outside my bedroom window , but hey...
Mrs MP - you are a super step-daughter. Being a stepmum is difficult - I tread a fine line on a daily basis and hope that I get it right. I would be over the moon to get a text from one of the skids to say they loved me. :lovethoug

Nighty night x0 -
Morning all,
CY- hope your op goes ok.
Valli- I'm not getting on due to half term!!! It's a fine line between letting the house get in a state and having quality time with the children.
We walked up to the library yesterday as ds1 is particularly enjoying a series of books but unfortunately they didn't have any titles in so he chose a couple of others instead!
Then in the afternoon ds1 wanted to do his new Hama beads set that we bought from hobby craft the day before. The gruffly and mouse!!! We did the mouse which was about 10cm high. The gruffalo is probably 20cm!!
Then ds1 had swimming and we had a meeting with the rector about christening little miss!!!
I was supposed to be having visitors today but they have cancelled. I have arranged to visit someone else this afternoon but going to try and crack on this morning.
Looking at the list I think I'm good for today as bathrooms don't need doing!!! First time ever! - they had a deep clean at the weekend!
Still got lots to do though!!!! Lol!

Morning all
Hope everyone is doing okay. Hugs, sticks, spoons and vibes for everyone.
Yesterday I had a lovely long hot bath which eased the back ache a bit, made a loaf in the BM, made up some jelly which is just past its BB date, 2 wash loads which ended up in the drier (and I've just remembered are still in there!:o ) and not much else :rotfl: I have paid stuff today collecting in books. I'm just waiting for the rain to pass over while I have my second coffee then I'll go do the first collection. I have to be out earlier during the holidays as the kids like to run off with the books if I haven't got to them  Meanwhile DD is going to get her homework done or she doesn't go out with her friends on Monday.
Tomorrow I need to go run errands as we're right down on the dog food and I've managed to lock myself out of my p3tsathome accountI also need to go to the bank and a couple of other places in town. I gave DD the choice of coming with me or staying home and cleaning to my standard. She's chosen to clean so I don't plan on doing any flying today except dailies and some laundry
Then, because I'll have a bus pass (no way am I walking to town with the amount of money I'll have on me!) I'll do a couple of charity shop runs as well I think to clear some of the piles in my bedroom. I will get all this clutter out of the house!

Tech week - today's tech-to-check is bathroom related - if you use any electrics in the bathroom (shavers or toothbrushes) carry out those maintenance tasks. Check you have any spare brushheads you need. Change if them necessary.
If you use a hairdryer check the air intake - run a vacuum nozzle over to remove any dust from the intake and this will help prevent your dryer overheating!
WM is done, I've finished my coffee, and the sun is trying to come out so it's time for me to move myself
