Thanks for the towel rail ideas. I will give it a go. X

I'm continuing with paperwork. More sorted and 1 bin bag of shredding produced. I'm hoping to finish it soon. I have completely emptied 2 shelves of doom. Now filled with Lego and skylanders. Another shelf only has 2 magazine racks of paperwork and the rest is ds2's large books.

    Home!

All went well - I was the last one on the morning list and was desperate for a drink by the time I went down, but they did give me 2 cups of water in recovery and I got a brew and toast when I arrived on the ward.

feel fine, no pain at all. District nurse coming in tomorrow - I suspect for moral support more than anything.

Hope all goes well with everyone, will post properly tomorrow.

Glad to hear from you CY.
Manuc day today so not a lot done.

Little miss had a hospital appointment for a scan on her hips. A slight abnormality was found so got to go back in 6 weeks for another scan. They are hopeful that things will be ok by then though.

Really worrying times with my 12 year old moggy. Yesterday he had a red mark in his eye. And today his whole eye was red and he really wasn't himself. Crying, hardly moving and bumping into things when he did. He has two detached retinas and has had a bleed in his eye. The vet has given his some tablets but he's not eaten all day. I have another appointment next week but will ring tomorrow if he still hasn't eaten anything.
He has never been to the vet apart from his boosters every year. I don't think it's looking hopeful but will see how he goes.

So not a lot got done today.

Had to drop by to check to see how you were, CY, so it's marvellous to hear that you were feeling so perky. *Healing vibes*

And more *healing vibes* for your 12 year old Moglet, Frizzle. There have been times when I've thought we were going to lose one of ours but we let them keep to themselves quietly somewhere with a bowl of water and a clean litter tray very close by, and handfed them tiny scraps of chicken breast every couple of hours to keep them ticking over until they're ready to resurface. They can be amazingly resilient. (((Hugs)))

Sorry, Yorkshire Lass, I forgot to add - huge congratulations to your DS on his job.

The dining room chandelier is all sparkly, dewebbed around the coving, washed the picture rail and all the paintwork, dusted and moved furniture and dealt with behind everything. I've got to do something similar in the kitchen today, top down.

And we realised yesterday from the *nif* that Kelpie has been lifting his leg in OH's office. Yuk yuk yuk. Carpet washer to the rescue today.
    Better is good enough.
