Afternoon all.
I am pleased to report that I had a really good night's sleep last night. Sleep has been a real prooblem recently, but this procedure has sorted that - I had 6 hours unbroken lip last night. Funnily enough DH was quite chuffed too.
District nurse has been and is happy with everything.
Hugs to all, especially the poster with the poorly moggy.
Bridesmaids dresses and were delivered this morning. Just about to unwrap one and sound 2nd a picture to DD2. Then feet up for rest of day.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Frizzle Sorry cat is unwell and hope little miss's hips are OK by next appointment.
We have just got home from getting pe trainers and visiting the National Video Games Museum.
Miss Muddy Paws has used her tray for the first time in years so I have just cleared that and henried and mopped the floor in that area.

ironing up to date and on a Saturday night. Rock'n'roll lifestyle for sure :rotfl:
Same here valli!!! Just got ds1s t shirts t do. I try and do all the ironing For one person soni can take it to their room rather than have ironing spread everywhere!! (Although the airers are full of damp washing so the basket will be full again tomorrow! It never ends!!)
Hubby hates me doing ironing on a friday or Saturday night. But I had stuff that needed doing for tomorrow and then hubby fell asleep so I cracked on while I could.
We let the cat have full reign of the house this afternoon as he wasn't happy shut in a room. He hid under our bed for a few hours and then this evening he appeared in the living room and cuddled up next To us on the sofa purring. He is obviously happier. He has also eaten half a sachet of food. It's the first food he has eaten in 36hours. I was tempted to give him some more but I didn't want to risk it. So will give him the rest first thing in the morning. He has also used his litter tray for the first time in 36 hours after we put him in it. He left us a little too puddle and parcel on the kitchen floor this morning (we wondered if he didn't realise where we had put the litter tray). Bless him.
I feel happier knowing he seems happier although we are obviously a long way from being 'right'.
Thanks again for all the posivibes!!!Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
Morning folks

:T to ironing Flyladies. I have one of DH's shirt and a linen tea towel in my ironing basket and it's not worth getting the ironing board set up for that much
It's only a week since we last blitzed the house, but I can see dust collecting on the piano so it might be time to crack out the dusters again tomorrow. At least the Old Wives' programmes for this term are finished and half of them delivered (the rest will be done today on my way to/from church) so now I can file most of the paperwork that is spread out the spare bed and replace it with what is piled up on the piano stool
Yesterday I managed a bit more studying (it's slow, but a lot of it is making sense and sticking, so I'll carry on like this to the end of this book) and dealt with some essential emails. Doesn't sound mucheven though I had the house to myself all day.
CY, I'm really pleased to hear that you've had at least one good night's sleep. It really sets you up for a better day, doesn't it?
Glad your moggy has perked up, Frizzle. Grow strong vibes to Little Miss F.
Thank you Valli for your lists this week - great fun to read, even if I haven't managed to do a great deal from them. I will carry over Tech Week, and when I get my car I promise to read the manual from cover to cover - the "Driver's Essentials", not the mechanics' version
The forecast is for rain all week from tomorrow, so I will try to get out in the garden for a couple of hours after lunch. DH mowed the lawn between showers a couple of days ago, but it needs doing again on a lower setting, and I must remember to seed the bare patches where the moss has died. There are things to move, a few new plants to plant out, and a money plant to repot. It deserves some TLC: it was given to me by an elderly neighbour in 2001 when I gave up teaching and went self-employed as a translator, and with Martin's help :money: I've kept my head above water ever since and managed to teach DH new MSE habits too.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all, as needed. Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Morning
Cat fed, he is becoming a right pest for food 1st thing, I might buy one of those feeder things that has a time clock in it, and see if that works, you fill it the night before, set the clock, at the correct time the hatch thing open and there is food waiting.....................

Morning everyone, had a nice day out yesterday and a chill in the evening but as I normally catch up on cleaning on a Saturday, the place looks terrible! Will be doing a bit today.0
