I am completely 100% on Georgie's side here. No way is that normal and acceptable behaviour, to insert a friend's tampon for them. And to call someone 'miserable' because they think it's not acceptable behaviour to eat off someone's fork in public is just rude.
I am not even sure the word 'skanky' (that Georgie used,) even covers it actually; it's just plain WRONG. Who DOES that? No-one I have ever known. IMO it's your attitude that is baffling Domayne!
You had to help her because 'she couldn't hide the string?!' Oh come on!!! I've heard it all now. :rotfl:
I didn't call her miserable because she finds it rude to eat off someone's fork in public. I called her miserable because she now refuses to dine with this couple because the woman finds it acceptable to take food from her own husband's plate!Saved so far - £28,890.97

She wasn't. I stated in my post she was dancing that night...I.E stripping...hardly a sexy look waving your tampon string everywhere!Saved so far - £28,890.97

I certainly wouldn't be cleaning them up.
I can sort of understand the problem when a tampon is 'lost' but helping is a step too far for me.
We all have our own line of "skanky" "squeamish " etc
I used to cover A@E reception and passed out a few times
But for friends, Ive gone that extra mile.
Not made a habit of it but I've done it
Ps. When in hospital for a while a fellow patient want the Loo and all the staff were busy so offered her the bed pan. She was in tears, so I took her
I'd do anything to help someone I guess. I might be weird, might be thought of as "skanky" but that's ok with me I know my boak levels are a bit skewwiff for the great British public and that is k by me as well
I'm blessed. I have friends ( not many ) that look out for me as well0 -

I read Suki's post as her helping friends who were drunk, not that she got drunk and somehow ended up wiping the bums of sober friends.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I shall take that as a compliment
Seriously not causing a row, but for a friend ( a real one that's there through thick and thin) I'd lay my life on the line
Thankfully I can count my good friends on one hand and I'm grateful to them all
So inserting a friends tampon for them, and wiping their bum when they're drunk is 'laying your life on the line for them?'
OK. :rotfl:Torry_Quine wrote: »It certainly wasn't meant. Any friend of mine who got that drunk wouldn't be a friend very long.

Yes definitely, and the excuse is that she is a dancer. Surely then, she would be very flexible and fit, and should be able to do it herself FGS!Offering to insert a friend's tampon, eating with hands in a inappropriate setting - both sound like the behaviour of skanks to me - so yes pretty skanky but if they both have the same standard of what is acceptable then they are well matched as friends and no doubt realize most people have different standards whether off their faces or not <shrug> (That's assuming you believe the poster in the first place of course)
Absolutely agree Duchy!
As for your last sentence; (bolded,) I was going to say that myself, but you beat me to it. Everything that is coming out of the mouths of a couple of people on this thread is starting to sound a bit outlandish! :rotfl:You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Helping someone in those ways when someone is ill is acceptable, and I'm sure for most people it goes without saying that they'd help wherever they could. I have to be honest, I'd find it hard because my retch level is seriously low. _pale_ But, I'd do it.
If someone is capeable of getting that drunk that they either lose control of their bowels and or can't wipe their own backside then they'll be left to their own devices I'm afraid. Thankfully it's something I've never had to encounter.0 -
So many miserable judgemental people on MSE and conspiracy theorists :rotfl: Surely if I was going to come on and make up stories they would be more interesting than 'I helped my friend insert a tampon!'
No matter how flexible you are, you'll never be able to see all the way up there. And quite frankly I don't care what you find socially acceptable and not acceptable but I posted on an open forum so your entitled to your bigoted opinions I suppose:)Saved so far - £28,890.97
