Oh dear, you did, didn't you? How awful.:rotfl:
Oh dear, I am sorry, my lack of sugary puddings and gallons of wine has clearly addled my brain!
Yes I knew that, but I just don't like this nastiness you've got going on towards PN and onlyrozJoin in with the debate, but don't get personal, and that goes for everyone, not just you. There's no need for it....lighten up, and talk about cucumbers or something!

No, I'm now off to roast a lamb rump and prepare the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.
Tomorrow I'm making Chicken Katsu Curry, on Tuesday I'll be making a Vietnamese duck salad and on Wednesday i'll be making a carbonara (with home-made tagliatelle).
I've no idea why you feel the need to justify yourself to someone clearly just posting to provoke.0 -
When people repeatedly say that their meal is "ruined" unless everybody at the table coordinates their courses and orders the same amount of food, I can only conclude that they are more concerned with putting the food into their mouths than with actually talking to their dining companions. Why, otherwise, would they care what I am eating?
This idea that you are either putting food into your mouths or "twiddling your thumbs" implies that the social interaction is secondary to the food.
Well, of course it is - otherwise I'd just ring them up for a chat or invite them round for a coffee!0 -

I don't like nastiness towards anyone, and that includes when it comes from Pastures New.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

I'm surprised that you feel the need to comment about my alleged nastiness, but not PN calling others thieves, greedy oiks, greasy oiks, all-manner of oiks in fact, and more personal insults that I can be bothered to list. In fact, you've liked several of these posts.
How strange.0 -

Not at all. Though that wouldn't be hypocrisy, would it?0 -
So just so we're all clear, certain posters can insult, belittle, sneer at and be all kinds of rude but be excused because they claim to have an 'issue' but others cannot defend themselves? What a strange bunch some of you are.0
