How strange.

I said that my comment went towards anyone who deemed it appropriate to get nasty and personal, and yes, I do think some of PN's posts have stepped over the line too.
I've thanked ones of hers I've agreed with or had elements of the post I agree with, just like I have with anyone on here.

And so the people with limited appetites never get invited out for dinner incase they spoil things for the others. What a shame.
No....if they think the conversation is more important than the food, what's the point of going to a restaurant? You can talk at home or over a coffee!!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

The idea is to combine both in a nice setting and a relaxed atmosphere where hopefully the food is good too.
Doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to eat what you want though, and that works both ways IMO.0 -

And yet you still saw fit to infer that I'm an alcoholic (who else would drink gallons of wine?).
One rule for you and yours and another for the rest of us, not in your little gang, is it?0 -

I never inferred anyone was an alcoholic. Sorry if you took it personally, but it wasn't aimed at you, it wasn't aimed at anybody.
There are no gangs. There's simply two different groups who have opposing views on the subject, nothing more nothing less.
I thank any posts I agree with. I don't thank the poster, I thank the POV. I've probably even thanked some of yours in the past!0 -

But, I noticed a lot of people had got the wrong ends of some sticks, whether they found them or whittled their own sticks, so I started being quiet, so they'd not get the chance.
I'm afraid that you were - you were particularly rude to SDW and then tried to pass it off as humour, even when your rudeness was pointed out to you.0 -
