Well done for managing your money better. Glad it is paying dividends now. Recipe reading sounds novel - I like it.

Several DD have gone out of bank today so I have updated budget and had another lightbulb moment on how to make YN AB work better for me! So played around with that. Also grateful for a bit of interest on our savings account.

Mortgage part 1 moved down to another £ bracket. Be lovely when I can start OP with a vengeance.

Managed to finish a sock yesterday and cast on another. Planning on making decent headway with that today. Also a bit of sewing. Want to get some more seeds planted today if I can and do an audit of what seeds I have and what else we might like to sew. Planned leftovers for lunch from the last few days buffet style of:
    risotto
    pizza
    hummus
    salad
    soup

dinner will be chilli will guacamole (using frozen avocado)

will make ‘pesto’ will remaining coriander leaves for another day.

Need to post some things on social media for DH business today too, procrastinating about this a bit and I’m not sure why. Right, no time like the present - off to do that now.

Managed to do the social media things as I did it straight after previous post. Will do some more this week. I’ve still to make that pesto, will put it on today’s list.

There will also be lots of time in the garden. I want to wash some winter coats so I can pack away in the loft clean. I know I’ll be appreciative of this next winter when it’s time to get them down. I did all the hats scarfs and gloves yesterday. So when they’re all dry and back off the line, I’ll round them up to a bag together and put them in the loft.

Aiming to dig 1m bed today as per foxgloves advice.

Yesterday I fixed a pair of DD shorts where the elastic had come out the band (adjustable waist ones) used a big safety pin attached to the elastic to feed it through. Also sewed up a dress of other DD.

Had a random delivery of some clothes and bedding I ordered in a sale before lockdown that I had been notified it had been cancelled. I’m not complaining as it is most welcome and stuff I will use (at an excellent price). Need to put away today.

We had a most enjoyable walk the last 2 days, even finding somewhere local we’d not come across before. Lovely to find some positives in all of this.

Crocheting sounds a soothing way to pass the time. I never quite got the hang of it.
Well done for contributing to the needs of the homeless.

Crochet practice was good. That website you mentioned was really helpful lucielle . Will try some more today. Next step will be attempting a pattern described as easy which at the moment I’m struggling to decipher 😂

really productive day yesterday. DH spent ages in the garden clearing a couple of bushes that only he can do and it looks loads better. Hoping he’ll be able to clear a bit more of the border today. It looks so much better already. I planted on my seedlings and DD and I planted more seeds. Had to get creative with some of the space/tubs so planted up 3 hanging baskets with seeds too. Will see how they go.

Used a variety of leftovers for lunch that everyone ate which was good. Tried something new for tea which the smalls really enjoyed so that will be on the menu again.

Today will be more washing and drying of winter coats. A really productive job. Have 2 small repairs to do from hats and coats today.

Aiming for one item of the lockdown to do list today. Plus there will be some gardening and crafting with the smalls and our daily walk which we are thoroughly enjoying.

Right off to check the banking and get in with the day.
