Glad you are doing ok during this time.  Are you having luck getting delivery slots, my luck ran out last week, so we will need to go out in the next 2 weeks for the first time in 8 weeks!

Crochet is definitely on my to do list during this time!

Aah, that makes sense. Thank you. I’m hoping I’ll get some more in next weeks veg box but I’ll also look out for it on our walks. I’ve a spot where I think it might be growing. It’s fabulous isn’t it. I put the last of it in some homemade pesto.

Crafting activities are definitely helping in these strange times.

I've had to put crafting on hold in favour of the garden - otherwise I will completely run out of space to put stuff - especially because DS is now home from uni just at the point we expected him to fly the nest permanently!

More productivity here. Showed DH how to work YN AB 😜 and he opened 2 regular savers last night. First time he has ever been so proactive in these things. We’re going to drip feed them from savings, I know the rates are no where near the dizzy heights of 8% but better than 0.1% or whatever the standard savers are.

One was opened online, the other needs some paperwork signed.

Have got decent amount of knitting done in the last couple of days. Hoping to finish the leg today if I can get clocking away but we may have games night after dinner which will divert my attention.

Another job done off the lockdown list. We’ll have to start a new one if this carries on....

hoping tomorrow DH will get in loft, some stuff to go up and one item to come down so I can do something else on list.

Friend ran an errand for me today, so thankful for good friends both near and far during this time. Spent a little bit of budget earlier in the week sending things to a couple of people far away to cheer them (all shielding so cant go out)

You seem to be achieving loads, PurpleFairy. I wish a whole load of items could come down from our loft, but not a lot of point atm when we can't get to the tip to get rid of them or to the charity shops or anywhere else which might relieve us of some of our lofty junk.
Never mind, there are plenty of other jobs to do.

Thank you foxgloves I’m just trying to keep busy as it feels like something I can control in all of this. Plus it’s useful to get through lots of things 🤣

managed to get a decent amount of knitting done but not all of leg as I went for a walk after dinner which did me the world of good. Used 1 of the 2 cut tubes of moisturiser up and a small pot of Christmas ham from freezer on tea (ham not the moisturiser!)

also chopped a pepper on its last legs and froze along with half a jar of anchovies which will come in useful as pizza toppings or to add to a pasta dish at some stage.

Hey PF,  I saw you comment on another thread about homeschooling (can't remember which one!)  I saw this on fb today,   https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=3329771763699786&set=a.405493189461006   BBC bitesize homeschooling  looks like it might be worth a look.  I'm hoping that my kids school follow this as it would definitely be a better idea to keep ds2 on track.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
