Just reread my post from last week so am
off to WD 40 the bedroom door in a minute as I’ve still not got round to it.Today is housework and sorting day. Just having a little post lunch rest. 2 loads of washing already outside and another one on.DH doing a Stirling job cleaning bathrooms and I’ll get the vacuum out in a minute. I’ve already done the utility.Going to have an easy tea tonight of freezer fish and chips. Do want to bake some biscuits in a bit, already made sausage rolls.Sewing badges is still work in progress. Smalls did one each yesterday so that helped a little.Still getting my head round YN AB which works in months but I get paid 4 weekly. It keeps telling me I have money to budget when I know I don’t 🤣
tweaked meal plan for the week based on contents of veg box yesterday. Was a bit disappointed with it tbh. Know I’m very lucky to be getting one but the contents were a little light for the first time and when you work it out very expensive per item. Hopefully box in 2 weeks will be better and it was just a blip.Right, off for some housework and then some knitting/ sewing to relax.6 -
Still haven’t greased the door 🙈
oh well tomorrow is another day! Haven’t felt too well yesterday or today so I have retired to bed with a hot water bottle and I’m going to watch some pride and prejudice !The lovely mr PF cooked leftovers for tea and stripped the lamb shoulder from yesterday. There are two more decent meals there. He also made soup and hummus today. He’s a keeper.Banking all done and up to date, as is YN AB. I’m hoping to tackle some decorating this week if I start to feel a little better. We already have stuff in and wouldn’t be going to shops for decorating things anyway at this time. However if the weather is as nice as the forecast suggests the garden might win!6 -
You're always so busy, puts me to shame! I hope you feel a bit better today.
What's next on the decorating list and can you do mine, keeping a safe distance obviously!

Thanks both. Yesterday was a total write off as I felt pretty rubbish. I couldn’t even manage a cup of coffee! Sleep has helped massively and I have woken today feeling so much better but am aware I’m still not 100%. So the next few days anything will be a win.Have a small amount of washing to catch up on and banking to check. That’ll do for starters.3

So normal service has been resumed after a few quiet days. Much sorting has been done today and lots of stuff ready to leave at the appropriate time either through charity shop, tip or recycling. DH has also dismantled several cabinets in our utility. Looks so much better. We've had a day off home schooling today and smalls have helped carry bits of rubbish to various piles and enjoyed some of the finds (bubble mix and packet of sweets in one cupboard). They've also had a rather long teddy bear meeting. Glad I wasn't taking minutes for that one 🤣
tomorrow we plan to do some more sorting and spring cleaning (in the sorted area) meaning that when lockdown finally fully ends we can have someone in to do some work in the area. But I will be happy knowing it's ready for that (whenever that maybe) and also feel the space is better utilised in the meantime and not just a place to dump stuff!4
